Stay - Mattheo Riddle

End of year 1

"well where the bloody hell was my invite? I'm guessing that it must of got lost in the mail right?" Kirra asked the trio in front of her who all jumped around in shock, fear on their faces, though they all calmed down when they noticed it was just the Hufflepuff girl standing behind them

"you shouldn't be here Kirra, you need to go back to the Hufflepuff room, this is too dangerous. If you come with us, you are just going to get hurt," Harry said to her quickly and Kirra let out a scoff before rolling her eyes as her brother underestimated her once again

"you have got to be kidding me, there is no way that im letting you go in there without me, we have been working together on this all bloody year and I want to go down their with you, besides I can look after myself and you aren't the boss of me," Kirra spat out and went to walk into the room with them but the three gryffindors blocked her from entering

"We are sorry but we can't let you come with us" Hermione said to the younger potter with sorry eyes but the Hufflepuff girl was just beginning to get angry, she was sick of them treating her like a baby when they were all the same bloody age

"stop being rediculus, im going in there with you, I can help you, I'm top of Charms and Defence against the dark art, please just let me help. I can help you guys I promise," Kirra pleads with them, she wanted nothing more at this moment then to go down there with them and stop Snape from stealing the stone for the man who had killed her family.

"We already told you that you aren't coming down there with us and that's final, I'm older than you so you need to listen to me, its my job to protect you and make sure you don't get hurt, and the best way for me to do that would be to make sure that you stay up here" Harry said and Ron nodded his head while Hermione looked down at her shoes, already knowing what she was going to have to do soon

Kirras face went red and tears clouded her vision as she looked at her brother in anger and desperation, "Voldemort is involved in this Harry, the man who killed our parents, im not staying here and letting him come back and letting mums sacrifice be for nothing. I am going to avenge them Harry, I'm going to make sure that he rots in Azkaban for the rest of his life," Kirra cries out frustratedly and then she hit the floor, frozen and not able to move.

The two boys looked over at Hermione who was staring down at the Hufflepuff with her wand in her hand a blank look on her face, "Im so sorry, but you cant come with us" Hermione whispered to her softly and then the three gave the young girl one last look and then left her there in the hallway and went down to where they would experience the worst moment of their lives so far.

Fred and George had been the ones to find the girl and they quickly used a counter jinx which allowed the girl to stand up, she had felt furious, hurt and betrayed by her brother and his friends, she couldn't believe they had done that to her, she had just as much of a right to go down there as they did and yet they stupefied her and left her on the floor alone. 

She didn't tell anyone who had done it to her and this seemed to annoy a handful of people who were pissed off when they found out what had happened to her, though JJ and Maxine had eventually gotten it out of her and they were far beyond the stage of pissed off.

Harry and the other two had gotten out the next day and Harry was in the hospital wing while Hermione and Ron were walking around fine. Kirra hadn't spoken to either of them and avoided them in the halls while her two best friends sent them death glares constantly while she told them not to worry about it and just forget that it ever happened.
