Cedric had been walking around and saw the three Gryffindors and the Hufflepuff and quickly made his way over to them, planning on talking to the Hufflepuff since the two of them had managed to get closer over the holidays.

"Hey Kirra!" Cedric called as he got closer to the four, Kirra heard her name and turned in the direction it came from, a smile coming to her lips as she noticed cedric

"Oh hey Ced" she said with a smile and waved to him, she stopped walking

"Hey, do you wanna maybe walk around with me for a while, I could use some help getting sticks for the fire" Cedric said and Kirra contemplated it for a second before agreeing, Ron, Harry and Hermione didn't really need her help and cedric was all alone so she figured it would probably be a good idea.

"Yeah sure," she says with a smile and then turns to her brother and his friends, "ill see you guys later alright, look after yourselves, don't worry i will be back in time" she says with a smile and says her goodbyes before separating from them and going to walk with Cedric

Cedric couldn't help but smile widely at the girl next to him as they walked through the tents, picking up firewood as they walked, "so are you excited to go back to school soon?" Cedric asked her

SHe turned to look up at the tall boy next to her, a giant smile tugging on her lips, "yeah, thought I'm not looking forwards to all of the homework, but it will be good to get back to school again and see all my friends and eat a crap ton of food" she says and a chuckle falls from Cedrics lips

"The food there is pretty damn good" cedric agrees with her.

Their fellow campers were starting to wake up. First to stir were the families with small children;  A tiny boy no older than two was crouched outside a large pyramid-shaped tent, holding a wand and poking happily at a slug in the grass, which was swelling slowly to the size of a salami.

As they drew level with him, his mother came hurrying out of the tent. "How many times, Kevin? You don't — touch — Daddy's —wand — yecchh!" She had trodden on the giant slug, which burst.

Her scolding carried after them on the still air, mingling with the little boy'syells — "You bust slug! You bust slug!" A short way farther on, they saw two little witches, barely older than Kevin, who were riding toy broomsticks that rose only high enough for the girls' toes to skim the dewy grass.

A Ministry wizard had already spotted them; as he hurried past Cedric and KIrra he muttered distractedly, "In broad daylight! Parents having a lie-in, I suppose —"

"Merlin, its pretty chaotic around here don't you think?" Kirra asked as the two couldn't help but laugh at the harmless chaos around them

"Yeah, nothing compared to the school halls when you and those Weasley twins are causing your daily trouble" Cedric says to her, her smile widening at the memories that she had of her and the twins, causing trouble in school, which then changed to the memories of her and the marauders causing trouble in school, her smile faultering slightly.

"So you looking forwards to quidditch back at school, I mean, Blythe is gone now and he wanted you to be captain," Cedric said with a grin

"Yeah, he talked to me a bit about it last year, I'm not sure though, I don't exactly have leadership qualities" she said admittedly, but it was clear that Cedric disagreed with this, and so did the other Hufflepuffs who believed she was perfect for the position

"Youre wrong about that, I, and almost every other Hufflepuff in the school are betting that you would be one of the best captain that we have ever had" Cedric told her honestly, a smile on his face as he looked down at the seeker
