I walked down stairs, and over to the front door. I took in a deep breath before I opened the door to see Freddy.

He looked up at me from his wrist watch, and smiled.

It was quite amusing how his blue orbs glittered in the moon light.

He looked into my eyes for while before saying, "Hey you!" He greeted with casualness.

"Hi you you!" I said with a chuckle.

He giggled, "So, are you ready for the party?"he said in an exciting accent.

"No,not really, but what can I say?" I responded as I fully walked out of my house so I could close and lock it.

"You know you don't have to worry right? I'll be with you."he said as he put his hands into the pockets of his white denim jeans.

"Yeah but, that doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to feel frightened in a place where there are different people,"I said as I looked for the right key from my batch of keys," including those who play different weird games and do extreme dares and dance crazily and I can't even imagine!!" Just talking about it made me feel nervous.

"And who knows? Maybe there will be a hundred of people partying outside, and another hundred partying inside and maybe a hundred partying inside the swimming pool!!" I know I was ranting out like crazy but this whole party thing was just frightening.

"Ohh yeah! Did you pack your swimsuit?"

I turned to him and give him a dumbfounded look and said nothing.

He spoke,"You know...so you can be able to swim. I forgot to tell about that."

So people would literally be partying in the pool too?!?

"No I didn't pack a swimsuit! And even if you reminded me to do so,I still wouldn't."

"Why not?"

"There are a lot of reasons, and the major one being that I definitely would not swim in a pool full of strangers and teens with people's bodies pressed together and no space to breathe!"

He brought his hand to his chin in thought, "You have a point."he then dropped his hand, "well I guess I won't be swimming either."he said casually.
"See you in the car." He said before walking over to his car.

I found the right key, and locked the door before walking over to the passenger seat of his car.

This party thing was already giving me goosebumps.

After I had closed the door, Freddy looked at me, "Are you ready for an exciting evening ahead of you?"

"I guess."I answered, but I even I knew I sound unsure.

Driving over to the house where the party was being held, I thought back to what my dad had said yesterday.

My dad had told me that he did not want me be friends with Freddy, and just thinking about it made me sad. Freddy is the only other friend I've managed to get after Belle and I didn't want that to slip through my fingers. How was I even going to tell him that my dad doesn't want us hanging out?!

"Hey, are you okay?" His voice brought me out of my thoughts, he must have seen the dull look on my face.

"Yeah,I'm fine." I said attempting a smile.

"I've told you Amelia, there's nothing to be scared about. The people there are just normal people."

Oh, he thought I was worried about going to the party.
