India came running down the stairs full of excitement about the day ahead
" get your coat on sweetie uncle George will be here soon" Cyn yelled thinking that it would take India forever to get ready like it usually did
" i have my coat on already mummy" she replied
" good girl sweetheart"
Cyn had to laugh at how quickly India can get ready to leave the house when George is involved
" mummy do you think there will monkeys at the zoo?"
" i suspect so "
" oh goodie that means that ill see daddy as he is a monkey" she said laughing
" i heard that" John shouted from the living room making India squeal with laughter
There was a small knock on the front door and India ran and answered it
" Ello trouble" George said his voice laced with his thick liverpool accent
" hi georgie porgie" she giggled
" so are you all ready to go?"
" yup"
" well go and say your goodbyes and we shall hit on the road"
India ran straight to john and she took a whole 10 minutes to say goodbye to him she insisted on giving him a million kisses and john was telling her that hewas going to miss her which made India want to stay with him longer but we finally prised her away and she said her godbyes to cyn and we were finally able to go.
They finally arived at the zoo after a long 2 hour journey where India sang and talked the whole way there
" so where shall we start?" George asked
" oh gosh george i dont know this place is huge" she said pulling her arms wide apart to show how big she thought the place was
" lets start with the birds"
" oh no uncle George i dont want to see the birds"
" why not?"
" birds kinda scare me"
George started to laugh thinking that India was joking but when he looked down and saw the fear on her face he knew she was being serious
" are you serious?"
" yes there scary"
" we have to pass them to get to the rest of the animals in afraid"
"then i guess we have to go home" she said her face showing sadness
" you have to be wanting to see the monkeys foe weeks and im not letting you not see them because your scared babes you can walk past a few birds"
" i cant im scared"
" you will be fine ill protect you "
" do you promise"
" i promise"
India took a hold of Georges hand and held on tightly as they entered the bird enclosure they walked past the rows of budgies which were sitting on there perches chirping to each other and George found it amusing that India found these little creatures so scary
just ahead of them were a family of a mum and dad and 2 girls who looked around Indias age and one of the girls turned around and laughed when she saw India
" look its smelly lennon" she laughed making India hang her head and the other gril looked around
" ewww do you smell her she is stinky" she said faking disguist
George looked down to see India holding back her tears her face full of embarrassement
George looked up to see if the parents were going to say anything to stop there kids from being mean but they stood and done nothing
" look at baby lennon nearly crying maybe she needs a dummy huh" the girl teased laughing
George dragged India away from the horrible girls
" India why dont you take this money huh and go and get yourslef some candy "
" ok George thank you" she said while she ran od into the shop and George returned to the bird enclosure
" excuse me " he said making himself known to the family
" oh my gosh your george harrison i love the beatles and your my favourite" the young girl said prending to be all sweet which George feel sick
" yes i am plus im also the uncle of India that girl you were bullying"
The young girl looked at her sister with a look of fear on her face
"and i think it is horrible that you bully someone just because they are prettier and kinder and sweeter than you and your little evil sister will ever be"
" excuse me but you can not talk to my daughter like that"
" why not you let your brats talk about my niece in the manner that they did"
" they did not say anyhting that was mean" the mother said
" are you kidding me?"
" no and if im being honest we are a christain family and after John lennons comments about the beatles being biger than jesus im glad they are giving that lennon kid a hard time"
" then send your kids to Johns house and let them give John a hard time or give me your home address and i will send john to your home once i informed him that your devil children were bullying his kid"
" i would not want my child anywhere near that John he is sent from the devil"
" well i would not want India around your family as you's are rude and non christain like you are a family of bullies and let me tell you john helped mould India into the loving beautiful loving caring kind sweet funny smart little girl she is now and if that makes her sent from the devil himself then i say i hope there are more people created by the devil now enjoy the zoo and keep your brats away from my niece or i will inform John of what they have been doing and there will be hell to pay "
George walked off feeling better that he gave that family a piece of his mind and he saw India sitting eating her chocolate bar
" are you ok baby?" he asked
" yeah those girls are mean"
" well i told them that they are brats and to leave you alone"
" UNCLE GEO DID YOU REALLY?'
" of course i did no one is going to be mean to my girl and get away with it plus i promised you that i would protect you"
George and India spent the rest of the day at the zoo having fun and laughing at the monekys when she thought one of them looked like john and india was that tired by the end of there trip she fell asleep the whole journey home
