new arrival

India meet Hollie

India walked down to get some breakfast and was surprised to see her daddy at the table eating his eggs

" Daddy your here i missed you yesterday " she squealed running up to him and wrapping her arms around his neck and he hugged her tightly and then set her into her seat

" i missed you too"

" you did?"

" of course i did but you have to eat your cereal all up because i have some exciting news for you"

"oh you are bringing me to see Minnie Mouse she is visiting here today and i so want to meet her" she interrupted

" no its not that princess it's"

" but daddy she will only be here for a few hours and i don't want to miss her please daddy"

" this is more exciting than meeting Minnie Mouse"

" there is not anything more exciting than meeting Minnie Mouse"

" well you can't meet Minnie today because you are coming with me to meet your new sister Hollie"

India's eyes went wide and she looked shocked

" A sister oh send her back daddy please i don't want a sister i don't want a brother either daddy please send her back" she said begging him

" i can't send her back India and i don't want to she is so cute and you will just love her as much as i do when you meet her"

" i don't want to meet her"

" well you have to"

" no i don't" she said entering yet another sulk

" she is your sister and you will be coming with me and you are going to meet her and you can sulk all you want but you are still coming"

India lay on the ground and began to cry

" i want uncle Paulie please tell him to come"

India had always had a close bond with Paul ever since she was born them 2 were like two peas in a pod if India was not playing with her daddy she was with Paul and John has always felt jealous at how close they are

" why is it that every time you get upset you want Paul" he asked annoyed

" because he loves me"

" i love you princess"

" no you don't not anymore"

" that's not true you know i love you and you are just having another one of your tantrums so get to your room and get ready to come with me to the hospital"

India stormed into her room and put on her princess dress that was pink and puffy and like a ballgown and she tried to put her hair in a bow but it was messy 

she stormed down the stairs where John was waiting by the door

" why have you got your dress up costume on"

" because mum helps me get dressed and its the only thing i can put on all by myself"

" come here and i will fix that hair of yours its all messy"

" i could not do it im only 4 you know"

" i know your 4" he said while redoing her bow in her hair

" there all done now you really look like a princess i will have to keep my eyes on you in case Prince charming is around and tries to whisk you away to a castle as your all mine"

India laughed at her daddy being so silly 

They arrived at the hospital and John grabbed a hold of India'a hand while the nurses and patients all remarked to each other about how adorable India was walking around in her princess dress. 

Every time John heard someone remark about how adorable India looked he felt so much pride that he was apart of making someone so adorable

They arrived at Cynthia's hospital room and India stopped

" i don't want to go in daddy"

" why not?"

"because i don't want a sister and if i meet her that means i have one"

" well you will have a sister whether you meet her or not"

John lifted India up and rested her on his hip and stepped into the room where Cynthia was sitting up in bed holding Hollie

India looked at Hollie and she did not like her she did not like how tiny she was or how cute she looked

" hello India are you ready to meet your little sister"

" no i don't want to meet her"

John set India down on the bed beside Cynthia forcing India to be next to Hollie and John smiled wide seeing his 2 daughters next to each other

" she looks like grumpy from the 7 dwarfs" she said making Cynthia laugh

" well she is new you looked like that when you were born too' cyn answered

India jumped of the bed not realizing how high up it was and she fell onto her bum making everyone laugh while she felt embarrassed and started to cry while she got up and sat on the seat that was near the window and away from the bed and Hollie

" aw India baby don't cry your ok"

" im not your baby anymore she is" she shouted pointing her little finger at the sleeping bundle that was now in John's arms 

" your still my baby India Hollie being here makes no difference"

India did not answer back she just curled into a ball on the seat and fell asleep

" what are we going to do with her John she really does not want to be a big sister"

" i know she threw a fit when i told her about Hollie she did not want to meet her she wanted to meet Minnie Mouse instead and she started to cry and all she wanted was Paul she did not want me at all just Paul" he said feeling sad at how he felt like she liked Paul more than him

" you know how close them 2 are she is just trying to get her own way and she knows that Paul cannot say no to her don't take it so personally she adores you John you know that"

" i know im just jealous i suppose but i hope she comes round to the idea of Hollie being apart of the family or i don't know what we will do"
