fun day

" wake up love" John said gently trying to wake India up

" its to early Daddy" she whined not wanting to leave her bed just yet

" it is 9:30 now up you get it is just us today so we are going to have some fun"

" Where has mummy and Hollie gone?" she asked sitting up in her bed her hair all askew from a busy night dreaming

" they have gone shopping with Maureen and Jane and Pattie love"

" oh ok"

" so get up brush your teeth get cleaned and dressed and meet me downstairs ok doll"

" Ok Daddy"

India got out of bed and done all the things that her Daddy had asked her to do with no complaint and was downstairs in super quick time

" well sweetie what flavour ice cream would you like for breakfast" John asked his face completely serious

" Daddy i can't have ice cream for breakfast"

" today you can so what flavour would you want"

India broke into the biggest smile ever and jumped onto a stool

" uhm ill have chocolate no wait vanilla please"

" why don't you have vanilla and chocolate"

" im allowed 2 flavours" she asked completely shocked

" this day is all about you so yes if you want 2 flavours you can have them"

" thank you Daddy"

John set to work on scooping out the ice cream and he set it in front of a smiling India. John was elated to see his daughter smile again it felt like a tiny bit of her was coming back again and it filled him with hope that she was not completely lost.

India had finished her ice cream and set her bowl and spoon in the sink

" so what do you want to do now princess?"

" read a book" India answered

" you don't want to read a book i know you now what do you really want to do"

" i want you to make that big slide thing outside then we can slide on it"

" that's more like it how about i call the boys and see if they wanna come and play with us as well?"

" yeah please that would be funny"

" ok well you go and get changed into something else and ill ring the boys and get the slide all set up"

" ill be so quick Daddy" India screamed running up the stairs and John laughed at her excitement

John rang the boys and they are all on there way and he went outside and put the long bit of plastic on the ground and covered it in lots and lots of washing up liquid so it would get so slippy and he then added some water when the boys all turned up

" alright lads you's were quick"

" well when you mentioned about trying to cheer India up we rushed over George even drove threw a red light" Ringo informed John 

" uncle George uncle Paul uncle Rings" India squealed running up to each boy and giving them a kiss and a hug

" right young lady are you ready to slide" John shouted

" yesssssssssssssssssssssssss"

India ran towards the plastic then quickly sat down when she reached it and she went sliding right across and slid across the grass as well while laughing and screaming in excitement the whole time
