i cant help falling in love with you

John paced up and down the floors of his bedroom in his new L.A. home he frantically paced back and forth over and over again while his young new girlfriend May pang lay in bed watching him not quite knowing what to do or how to calm him down.

Since John got of the phone with Paul he has been in a blind rage flying into long rants about how Paul wants everything that is John's and how he will never get his daughter. The more John paced the floors the more angry he got and the more angry he got the more energy he got and the more energy he got the more he ranted and screamed about Paul he was stuck in a vicious circle of anger and it scared May.

May was young she was only 22 and very naive she was the polar opposite to John she was quiet and well mannered and well behaved and her calmness normally rubbed off on john and made him calm and relaxed but tonight there was nothing that May could do to calm him she was over her head and when john picked up a brandy bottle and started drinking it May knew that the night was only going to get worse.

John has been storming around the house all night cursing Paul and drinking so much alcohol May was surprised he was still managing to stay awake

" john why don't you go to bed and lie down for a while and relax" May said sweetly

John looked at her his eyes full of anger

" HOW THE FUCK AM I MEANT TO RELAX WHEN THAT BASTARD IS WANTING TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER" he screamed into her face

" well maybe it would be for the best your not really in the right state of mind to be there for her she needs someone steady and maybe Paul having India for a while might be better"

John pushed May and slammed her against the wall and leaned in close to her face his own face twisted into a look of pure evil

" don't you ever say to me that India would be better of with Paul do you understand me" he said his voice low and poor May looked terrified while she shook her head yes not trusting her voice to work to answer him back

John fell onto the sofa and fell into a deep drunken sleep.

John woke up a few hours later his head pounding and his eyes heavy but he was sober and was able to fully take in what Paul had said to him. May came down the stairs and sat beside him and she informed him of what he did the previous night and the look of pure devastation hit him

" im so sorry i scared you May you know i would never hurt you on purpose i just cannot handle the thought of Paul having my little girl"

" then lets make the arrangement's to go  to England and go and get your daughter back John it is simple he has not adopted her she is still your daughter so you have every right to go and take her out of his possesion"

" it is not that easy"

' why isn't it" May questioned confused

" because I'm no good for India look at the state of me what kind of dad am i being i hurt her all the time but she adores me so she comes back to me and forgives me and it is not fair she is going to grow up into a angry and messed up teenager if i stay around her i ruin everything. so im going to let Paul adopt India then maybe she will grow up to be something"

May looked at John they had only been together a short while but she knew how much his children mean to him so to see him sitting there looking so broken upset her and she could not believe that he was going to give up his own daughter.

" your not thinking right you can't do that"

" i am thinking fine im thinking about india's future she would be so better with out me"

" what about india she will be devastated that could just destroy her  then she is going to be growing up thinking her daddy doesn't love her then she will be a angry teenager who has a large attitude"

 " look my mind is made up im a fucking mess i destroy everything im not going to destroy my daughter"

john got up and left May sitting alone while she thought that Johns rash decision is going to hurt india and affect the rest of her life.

PAULS P.O.V

India has been feeling pretty bad lately she is missing her daddy so much it is like she is missing a huge part of herself and i have tried everything to cheer her up but nothing is working so i call up the one man other that John who could make this little girl happy again Ringo.

India was sitting staring blankly at the tv screen like she was caught in some daze her mind was somewhere far away and Paul knew she was thinking about John

Paul went to the door and let Ringo in after hearing him knocking very loudly

" hello there bambi eyes mccartney wheres my damsel in distress" Ringo asked in a funny voice while following paul into the living room

" ello there little lennon" he said and India's eyes lit up 

" uncle rings i have missed you so much" she ran up to him and hugged him tight and paul gave ringo a wink and left them alone

" so how about we have some fun huh" Ringo asked breaking into that huge smile that brightens up his whole face

" yeah can we dance" 

" yeah we can but i must warn you i am an amazing dancer im like a ballerina you see im light on my feet" Ringo started to try and twirl like a ballerina while India laughed so hard she had tears in her eyes

" your so silly ooh Paulie has some Elvis records we can dance to him"

" so you like Elvis then huh" he inquired winking at india who started to blush

" yup hes the best"

" and hes so dreamy" Ringo said in a girlie voice

" stop it" she said her face turning even more red

"i think India has her very first crush on a boy Paulie" Ringo shouted in the direction of the kitchen where paul was

Paul stepped into the living room a smirk on his face

" so who is this boy? do i know him? do you hold his hand? do i need to talk to him? are you's going to get married? is he your boyfriend?" Paul asked enjoying teasing the young girl

" its a certain Elvis Presley" Ringo told his ex bandmate

" oh no he is not good enough for you nope and he shakes his hips way to much i do not approve your not to see him anymore india im telling you" 

" you's two are being silly i have never met Elvis"

" so you tell us you's could be meeting up and you could be giving him kisses ON THE LIPS" Ringo said raising his voice at the end to build the drama

" ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ill never kiss a boy on the mouth thats yukkie "she answered screwing her face up to emphasize her disgust

" im glad to hear that no boy is good enough for our girl" Paul said 

Paul went and put on a the record and India and Ringo spent hours dancing away ringo twirled her around to all the fast songs and when the slow songs came on India stood on Ringos feet while he moved slowly across the floor and then the song cant help falling in love with you came on India made Paul telephone George very quickly

" ello george mate India wants to talk to you" paul said to the telephone receiver

" hello uncle Geo our song is on and im going to sing to you ok"

India  coughed slightly then she began to serenade her uncle George

" wise men sayyyyyy only fooooools rush in but i cannnnnn't help falling in love wiiiith yoooooou"

India sang the whole song to George and it actually made Paul cry. He never failed to be amazed by her sweetness and how utterly adorable she is standing there singing to her uncle george.

once India finished singing the song she looked round to see her 2 uncles crying and what she didnt know was George was on the other end of the phone crying with happiness and he was thinking how can one little girl bring so much happiness
