new arrival

a awkward conversation

India woke up her long brown hair all askew from her sleep and she climbed out of bed but she was scared about going downstairs as she remembered what she saw last night and it still upset her. She felt scared of George and thought he was a bad man like the men to took her away they were bad men also.

she slowly made her way down the stairs to see George and Pattie sitting having there coffee and she walked into the kitchen and ran to Pattie and began to cry

" i wan't to go home now i want to see Daddy" she cried while Pattie pulled her into a hug as she looked at George confused as why India was like this she was fine last night

George walked up to India and put his hand on her shoulder and she flinched away from him like she was scared of him 

" India love what is wrong?" George asked concerned feeling sad at how upset India was

" i want to go home your a bad man" she said and George looked shocked

" why do you think im a bad man love" he asked confused and hurt that she thought this

" i wan't to go home. im scared your a bad man and you might hurt me as well" she screamed 

George felt so confused he had no idea what happened and why India suddenly thought that he would hurt her

George loved India like she was his own kid and he would protect her from any harm and he would never ever hurt her and it killed him to see her scared of him

" ok lets get you home to your daddy" Pattie said bringing India upstairs to get all her belongings together and once they done India sat at the back seat while George drove her home.

Once they arrived India jumped out of the car and ran towards the door and started banging on it and after a few minuted John opened it and India jumped into his arms and began to cry

" what the hell happened to her George she is shaking" John asked confused

" i have no idea we had a great night we had dinner and watched a dvd and she fell asleep so i put her to bed and when she woke up this morning she was in this state saying that i am a bad man who would hurt her" George answered holding back his tears as he walked into the house behind John

John set India down and he sat beside her

" sweetie what happened. why are you so upset" John asked while George stood in the doorway listening intently

" George is a bad man" she said between sobs

" why is he a bad man?"

" because he hurt Pattie"

" what do you mean he hurt Pattie what did he do?" John asked shocked

" i had a bad dream last night it was the one where i was with those bad men again daddy and i was scared so i went to see if i could sleep between  Pattie and George but they did not hear me and George was lying on top of Pattie and Daddy they were not wearing any pajamas and Pattie was making alot of noise George was hurting her so he is a bad man" 

George's face turned a bright red colour he could not believe that India had walked in on them last night and John turned around to look at George and John looked like he was shocked.

" sweetie George was not hurting Pattie they were doing grown up stuff but he was not hurting her. you know your uncle would never hurt Pattie or you he is a good man"

" what was he doing daddy" she asked confused to what he was doing then if he was not hurting her

" he was huh well he was showing Pattie how much he loved her"

" why was he not wearing any clothes and why was she making so much noise daddy"

John wished the ground could just swallow him up and John shot George a look that could kill

" well when two grown ups love each other so much and when they are married they remove their clothes and hug each other and she was making noise because she found it fun"

" do you and uncle George hug each other like that" India asked still confused

" NO" John shouted

" but you love George and your both grown up and are both married"

" George only hugs Pattie like that"

" does uncle Paul hug mummy like that as they love each other"

" im sure they do hunny"

" well im not doing that daddy it looked silly"

" i am so relieved to hear that you don't want to do that just promise me even when you are a teenager and you get a boyfriend you never do that with him" John said feeling angry at the thought of his angel with a boy

" i won't i promise boys are gross" she said pulling her face into a look of repulsion

India ran up to George and hugged his legs

" im sorry for saying your a bad man Geo i love you"

George leaned down and hugged her

" its ok sweetie im glad you love me again"

India ran upstairs to find her mum

" George you owe me a drink mate that was the most embarrasing conversation i have ever had"

" im so sorry i had no idea she saw us "

" don't worry about it she seems ok and she brought the story but the next time she stays just make sure you's sleep this time i dont want to have another awkward conversation like that.
