India stood outside the gates of Pauls house working up the courage to enter his property she never thought that she would feel nervous about seeing  her uncle Paul she used to run into his arms and she loved to spend time with him  and she loved being the centre of his attention and now here she was trying to build up the nerve to see him she felt like she  was no longer needed or wanted in his life she felt like a used and empty bag of crisps no longer needed. she missed him and although she is stubborn she  knew she had to have Paul back in her life again

" are you ok love" the security man who sat in a small booth behind the steel  gate asked

" yes I think so"

" ahhh India I did not recognize you. wow you have grown so big you haven't been around here in a long time you have been missed especially by Mr McCartney he is miserable without you"

" Really" she asked feeling as shocked as she sounded

" yes ma'am he just aint the same anymore "

" wow I did not think he would miss me at all"

" well are you wanting to come in?"

" uhm yeah I think I do"

The huge gates opened and she slowly entered suddenly feeling very small. She made the short walk and was now standing outside his house taking large breaths trying to calm her nerves

"come on India just knock the door " she said to herself and she lightly knocked the door and it was opened a few minutes later

" hello Linda is Paul home?"

" yes come on in sweetie he will be thrilled to see you"

" thank you"

India walked in and took a seat in the living room and waited and her nerves were raging threw out her body and  she was shaking

" oh look who is here ahhhhh were you missing my daddy" Heather said entering the room grinning from ear to ear

" it is none of your business and Linda and Paul are not married so he isn't your daddy?"

" ahhhhh did you not know they got married last week ha did you not get an invite ahhh bless I was a bridesmaid you know"

" your lying "

" no im not look at the pictures on the mantle piece "

India got up and walked over to the fire place and saw wedding pictures scattered across the mantle and India's eyes were filling with tears she felt so upset that she did not know or get an invite and she was devastated

" I got to go" India said rushing to the door"

"India you are here I have missed you sweetie" Paul said entering the room his happiness at seeing India was evident on his face but India didn't look like she was thrilled to see her uncle she looked heartbroken

" im going home coming here was a huge mistake" she said crying

" what's happened hey sweetie why are you so upset what has happened has someone hurt you" Paul asked feeling confused and upset and protective

" yeah someone has hurt me"

" who is it I swear I am going to kill them " Paul shouted

" it was you Paul"

" wait what I hurt you?"

" yeah so when were you going to tell me that you got married"

" how did you know that?"

" Heather told me and the pictures are everywhere. why was I not invited are we not good enough anymore"

" aww sweetie it wasn't that it was all last minute and we did not invite anyone"

" Heather was there and I have been in your life since the day I was born I lived with you I thought of you as my daddy for a while and I didn't even get invited I thought you loved me"

" I do love you so much you have no idea you are the moon and the stars to me"

" your a liar Paul you lie to me and I hate you I hate you so much"

India ran to the front door and into the driveway she was crying so badly that her eyes were stinging she just started to run she wanted to just run as far as she could away from Paul her heart was broken and she felt so let down she ran out of the gates and she ran straight onto a busy road and the last thing she remembers is the loud noise of a horn blaring and the feeling of being hit so powerfully that she flew into the air and she was knocked unconscious by the time her body hit the ground
