INTRO ! Eurydice had never comprehended death as a whole. She understood that one day, that she had always believed to be sooner rather than later, she would stand in the face of death. She would stand by the Styx, stand in Charon’s boat, and face the court that would decide where she would reside. The girl may have been a demigod daughter of the Underworld but she knew that even she had a clock, and that clock was ticking. Her thread was getting closer and closer to the cutting date.
If anyone had told her she would die but come back and live forever, she’d laugh and call bull. She would not have taken you seriously and would have shunned you. She had three people in the world that she cared about, her twin brother Newt, and their best friends Kaz and Titus. The girl would do anything to keep them safe, even if it meant defying everything she believed in.
When the four move to Forks, Washington, and start yet another life in an attempt to hide from the monsters that neared, they’d never think that they would end up in the center of a supernatural hotspot. Eurydice knew something was off the moment she sensed the dead among the living, something was changing. Eurydice knew all of the tales from mythology and she knew the monsters that she must face, but she never believed that she’d meet these new ones. Nor did she ever expect to die and wake up as one, for all eternity.
