 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 had once swallowed the twins in now spit them out. The world just a few shades darker, nearly five hours had passed. Now they were back to where they had been. Eurydice's palms hit the ground as did her knees. She looked over at Newt as he caught his balance and adjusted his chiton. His brown eyes meeting her blue ones for a split second before moving elsewhere. Eurydice adjusted the crown on her head as she got off of the ground and dusted off her knees and her palms. At times she really wished when they came back, they would come back in the clothes they originally had. Even their shoes, yet that never happened. They'd always arrive back in the same chiton and laurel crown with a pair of sandals. Eurydice let out a sigh as she hooked arms with Newt before shadow traveling them home. Upon arriving she noticed the Cullen's vehicles were outside as well as their own. Newt shared a look with her before they walked to their door and opened it. Both immediately attacked with questions. Eurydice's eyes were sunken and her blue eyes seemed a few shades darker. Newt looked a little bonier, they always did after coming back. They had been in the land of the dead after all.

"It's been hours!" Kaz exclaimed as he stared them down, "A lot more than normal."

"Sorry. They kept us longer." Newt mumbled as he looked at his sister.

Rosalie looked at the girl and every Cullen smelt blood more than they should, especially because the two barely had scents to them, "Eurydice, Newt, are you two alright?"

Eurydice nodded while Newt held up their hands which had been cut. "Yes."

Eurydice took her hand back which was stained red with her blood but also due to the pomegranate. "What do you guys need?" She questioned as she noticed Edward was not in the bunch.

"Edward is gone for a bit. He needs to clear his mind over Bella." Carlisle answered as he walked over and started inspecting the twins hands.

"Alright." Eurydice moved her hand back as she stared him down for a bit.

𝐄𝐔𝐑𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐍𝐎𝐓 wait one minute before she went straight to her room. She just felt off which was normal for when she came back. She changed into a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt before wincing at the pain that seared through her hand. She heard a knock on her door and she inhaled sharply before she walked over to it and peaked it open. Alice and Jasper stood with small comforting smiles.

"Can we come in?" Alice asked softly as Eurydice nodded and opened the door further.

"Don't worry. Everything's okay." Jasper attempted to reassure her but once she heard him trying to pronounce 'everything's' she was trying not to start laughing.

"Your accent makes that sound so funny." Eurydice's voice was barely above a whisper.

Alice grinned at the sound of the girl's voice. "It does make it that way." She agreed as she opened her arms as if offering a hug.

"I feel attacked, y'all." Jasper feigned hurt. "I can't believe my favorite girls are makin' fun of my accent."

"We are not." Eurydice rolled her eyes as she hugged Alice before pecking Jasper's cheek.

Jasper took a look at her hand carefully before looking at Alice. "Eury, darlin', do you mind if one of us bandages this up?"

Eurydice paused for a moment as she thought about it before nodding. "Sure.."

𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 guided to her bed and sat down she couldn't help but start to listen in to the conversation her brother was having with Kaz, Carlisle, Newt, Rosalie, and Emmett. She heard them discussing different safety precautions which made her roll her eyes. Eurydice was slightly worried with this whole conversation happening while Kaz was around due to him not being in the loop of things. She pushed it off as she watched Alice wipe the dried blood and pomegranate off of her hand before grabbing bandages from Jasper and wrapping up her hand. Her eyes caught the stygian iron laurel that rested on her nightstand and she glared at it before sighing.

"Are we sure that everything with Swan will go 'good'? So far I want to sucker punch her in the throat and drag her to the Underworld myself." Eurydice hummed as her blue eyes met the amber ones that belonged to one of her mates.

"No violence please, honey. I am sure. Besides we all will learn to love her." Alice hummed with a small smile.

"Debatable." Eurydice grumbled causing Jasper to let out a laugh and Alice to give her a playful glare. "We better get out there with everyone." She changed the subject as she stood up.

"So now you want to be around everyone." Jasper said playfully as he made his way out the door.

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 made way into the room multiple gazes shifted on Eurydice. Eurydice moved slightly behind Jasper so they couldn't stay on her. Listening to the discussion between her brother and Carlisle as her mind wandered. Persephone had warned her that she didn't have much more time to live, what did that mean? What did it mean that she would bear a child alongside the one she did not trust? Eurydice never thought about having kids. Not with her tainted blood. Her time was already extremely limited and she knew that but with Persephone's words, she believed it to be shorter than she thought. What would happen to Newt? She couldn't leave him behind because he was her twin. If she passed on he would feel it, every bit of it. She did not want him to feel that pain and in all honesty she wished that when they died, that they died together or he died first. Eurydice knew that the pain of losing a sibling or even a twin was unbearable. She wanted to take that burden instead of him. She sent Rosalie a small smile and proceeded to send Emmett her middle finger as she noticed him making fun of her facial expressions. Newt looked over at her and managed a small laugh at her act.
