just laughing as i enter my room again made karl smile. he was standing by my computer and his phone was propped up as if he was going to record himself.
"what are you doing?" i ask, closing my door behind me.
"i was gonna do a fit check for my instagram story." he flashes me a cheeky smile.
i slightly roll my eyes with a fat smile on my face.
"of course you are recording a fit check." i laugh and grab my stuff to wear.
"care to join me?" he asks, waiting to hit record.
"it's okay, i'm still wearing this dress. i'm gonna get changed since you beat me to it." i point to his outfit.
he smiles and looks at his phone and does his thing. i walk away from him and i start to change into the outfit karl made for me. he grabbed some black ripped jeans that supposedly make my butt look good according to him even though i've never worn these pants around him, but i appreciate his effort and it did make me feel good. he grabbed a black, tight turtle neck and a graphic t-shirt for me and i just smile at his choice.
"you almost done over there?" karl asks, plopping down on my bed.
"yup, just putting my shirt on." i slip the top over my head.
i walk to my mirror and i look at myself in the reflection and i could see karl admiring me and i couldn't help but look back at him and i smile. he doesn't look away and his face flushes pink.
"you are so pretty luna." he gushed.
"you are very pretty too karl." i walk over to him, grabbing his hand.
i pull him up and he hugs me and kisses my head. he grabs my hand and leads me out of my room. i knock on avery's door and it opens a few seconds later.
"are you guys leaving now?" she asks, leaning against the door.
"yeah we're heading out now. did you text nick at all?" i ask, walking out of the hallway.
"yeah, he should be here soon.. you guys look cute." avery smiles at the both of us.
"i picked lunas outfit out for them." karl smiles proudly.
"i'm liking the use of 'them' for you luna." avery flashes me a smirk.
"okay now. we're leaving. try not to ruin my house when we're gone." i roll my eyes.
i grab my black pair of converse shoes and karl starts to put on his checkered vans, smiling brightly to himself. i couldn't help but admire him while he was slipping his shoes on. he looks up and we locked eyes and i smile to him.
"you ready to go?" karl asks me, standing up straight.
"yup!" i take his hand in mine.
we wave goodbye to avery and tobio appears beside her and i smile. karl unlocks his car and opens the door for me to get in. i smile and thank him as i get inside, putting my seatbelt on. karl gets in on the drivers side and starts his car, hooking up his phone to play music.
"where are we going?" i ask, trying to see if he'll tell me now.
"you'll see." he looks at me quickly and then looks away.
i groan and he just laughs at me. i look out the window and watch the cars driving past us and i look back over at karl, smiling to myself. music was playing in the background and i lean over to turn it up a bit and i look back out the window.
"this is dream and george's song.." karl snickers to himself.
"what do you mean? this song is so good, especially the stripped back version. heatwaves makes me feel all the emotions." i smile and listen to the words.
"i'll explain it after, we are almost there." karl glances over and let's the music play.
i hum along to the words and i go onto my phone for a bit just to pass time. i see i have texts from avery and nick so i answer them while i have the time. my eyes widen when i read nicks message and i just stare at my screen.

"nick is taking my sister to disney world." i look at karl.
"oh my gosh really?!" karl looks over at me shocked but excited.
"yeah! i wanted to take avery one day but that can be a group thing or something. i live here and i haven't been to disney world yet." i shake my head at the thought.
"you've never been? i'll take you one day, mark my words!" karl grabs my hand and brings it to his lips.
i smile at the gesture and i hold his hand tightly. i look at avery's messages and she was texting me in all capitals about how she's going to disney world and how she's crying about it since she's so happy. i chuckle and i read the messages out to karl and he laughs.
"okay we're here! close your eyes!!" karl's hands fly over my eyes before i could even react.
"karl– i'll cover them!" i laugh and he removes his hands cautiously.
my eyes are screwed shut and i even bring my hands up to do double cover. karl tells me to stay out and to not peak or he will throw me away. i laugh and he leaves the car, leaving me alone. i lean forwards so i can't see outside and i go on my phone, hoping he won't throw me out for this.
"what is he doing.." i mumble to myself.
the trunk opens and he tells me to still stay put and still not look, which i answer i am. the trunk shuts and karl is still outside of the car doing i have no idea what. a few moments pass and my door flys open, startling me.
"you gotta close your eyes and take my hand okay?" he looks at me.
"okay.. should i trust you?"
"you should always trust me my love."
