Genshin Impact Oneshots (Fem!Reader) [REQUESTS CLOSED]

?Scaramouche?

        This was requested by ImNotEmergencyFood from Wattpad. This takes place when Scaramouche was first being made.

        I did go to WikiFandom to look on his backstory, and some of it didn't make sense to me, so I'm trying. Some of this stuff is made up and just randomly added in that will make the relationship between MC and Scaramouche stronger.

        "Ei, are you sure about this?" (Y/n) asked as she watched her old friend started making a head. Recently, Ei had lost her twin sister, Makoto, and had decided to make a puppet. The one she's currently making is the first one, a prototype. "I know loosing Makoto was a very hard thing for you, but putting yourself in solitary confinement is not something I suggest doing. Being by yourself, won't bring Makoto back."

        "Bai, you don't know what it is like to loose someone so close to you." Ei said, turning around to look at her friend, the head still in her hands.

        Does she know what it's like to loose someone close to her? Yes, many times. She had lost her dear Salt Goddess, she had lost a deadly sea monster who now dwell below Liyue, and she had lost a dear friend who made such beautiful blue flowers. She does know, she know's it too well.

        "Ei-"

        "Get out. Don't come back until the prototype is done."

        A soft sigh escaped (Y/n)'s mouth, as she left her friend to her crafting.

        "I'm worried about her, Morax," (Y/n) said as she sipped some Osmanthus Wine, something her friend enjoyed drinking when he was with old friends. "Ei has decided to go into solitary confinement, and she plans on making her nation one where time doesn't move. I don't think this is what Makoto would have wanted."

        "Everyone handles grief in a different way," Rex Lapis said, sipping on some of his wine as well. "For now, you shall let Ei do what she wishes to do. She will run her nation the way she wants, and you shall run your nation the way you want. We all will run our nation in whatever way we want. I know you don't want bad things to happen around you, but you must accept that fact that people change."

        "It feels weird," (Y/n) sighed. "This thing known as change. We are used to change when we don't really focus on the world around us. But when we do, it always feel weird."

        "Change will always be weird for us," Morax said. "Everything looks so differently in the blink of an eye for us. One moment you see someone born, and in the blink of an eye, they are on their death bed. Time will never stand still for anyone, not even for the Raiden Shogun."

        (Y/n) looked down at her cup, the wine still inside. She doesn't know how to feel. The original 7 are no longer as close as they used to be. Especially since the attack on a nation without a God, things were not looking the same.

        "I know you don't like change," Morax gently placed a hand on his friends shoulder, feeling her sadness radiate from her. "But time will not stop for anyone. Not even for us."

        (Y/n) looked at her friend before she looked down at her wine, taking another sip.

        It's been a few weeks since (Y/n) had last seen the new Electro Archon. She had received word that the puppet was finished, and Ei wanted (Y/n) to come see the prototype. Why (Y/n)? Mostly because (Y/n) is the smartest when it comes to technology. That, and because (Y/n) will always be the closest to the original Archons, even though Ei isn't the first Electro Archon, she is still close with her.

        "Ei, where is your prototype?" (Y/n) asked, walking up the large steps to where her friend usually stays.

        "He is inside, come in," Ei said, opening the door to her private building, and there, sat what (Y/n) had guessed was the prototype. He was shorter than his maker. His hair was long, very long, actually. If he were to stand, his hair would touch the ground. His eyes seemed empty, signifying he was not awake yet. "He hasn't been turned on yet. If this is successful, I will give him my gnosis so it will be in safe hands, after I create my puppet."
