you had been in a couple with Joe for five weeks. you had five more weeks to go before the final and you were excited. recently, two new boys had entered the villa, neither of them were your type and to be honest, you knew your head would ever be turned because you had Joe. one of the boys in particular, Thomas, had taking a liking to you. you had tried to drop the hint that you really were not interested but he just did not take it.

it was around 9 o'clock and you were sat on the day beds with a few of the girls you were friends with. Joe was down by the pool with some of the boys, laughing. he really was beautiful and you were very lucky. you and Joe didn't really have any tests as none of the new people who walked in took a liking to either one of you hit with Thomas being around, it sometimes got awkward. "hey y/n, could i talk to you for a second" you heard. you turned around and saw Thomas standing there, a small smile placed on his lips. "yeah sure" you got up, giving the girls a look before following Thomas to the fire pit.

"are you okay?" you said as you both sat down. he looked you a chuckled, "yeah i'm all good. i just wanted to get something off my chest" he said, looking nervous. you sipped your drink and he took this as an indication to keep going. "as you probably know, i think you're really beautiful. you have beautiful eyes and you skin is pretty and you're smart and funny." he spoke, a nervous tone in his voice. "thank you, that's nice of you to say" you said. you felt awkward. you looked at Joe who was looking at the conversation but turned when he saw you looking at him. you sighed and turned back to Thomas.

"i would really really like to get to know you. i know you have a thing going on with Joe but i know that you are way to good for him and i want to get to know you." he said. you looked at him with a shocked expression. "i find that really rude actually. Joe is a lovely man and you don't even really know him" you said, shifting uncomfortably in the seat. "yeah well, i don't really know you either but i want to get to know you. please just give me a chance." he replied, sounding desperate. you felt bad, you felt awkward. "honestly Thomas, i don't think that's a good idea." you said, looking away from him.

he sighed and nodded his head. "i understand. we can still be friends though right? i would feel awful if i we didn't at least become friends." he said, looking right at you. you turned back to him and gave him your best fake smile. "of course we can be friends. thank you for telling me Thomas. it was really brave of you" you said, standing up to leave the conversation. he got up as well and hugged you. how random. nevertheless you hugged back, trying not to make it so obvious that you did not want to hug this weirdo. you pulled away and walked straight to the girls. they all asked you what happened and you explained what Thomas had said and how bad but awkward you felt.

it was now time for you guys to go to bed. you put on your pyjamas and took off your makeup before brushing your teeth. you saw Joe was also in the bathroom brushing his teeth so you walked behind him and put your arms around his waist. he smiled softly and turned around to face you. he hugged you whilst brushing his teeth. you pulled away just as he was about to spit out the toothpaste and started brushing your own teeth. he kissed your head and started making his way down to the bedroom. after you did your business, you walked down stairs, into the bedroom to see Thomas sitting on the bed next to yours and Joe's. how awkward.

you walked past him and got into bed with Joe. he instantly pulled you into his embrace and kissed you passionately. "i feel like i didn't speak to you at all tonight. i missed you" he said, looking at your face. you chuckled slightly before kissing him one more time. "i know. i'm glad we all just chilled out though. i can't be bothered to deal with drama." you said, he laughed and nodded his head. you both laid there before the lights turned off. you pulled Joe on top of you and started playing with his hair which was soft. you both fell asleep, guilt basically eating you alive as Thomas laid in the bed next to yours.
