'That's what death is, isn't it? forgetting... Forgotten... If we forget who we are where we come from we are not men anymore.' Sam told them 'just animals. your memories don't come from books, your stories are not just stories...'

'we gotta take out the night king.'

Another king, sasha thought annoyed.

' he can find me.' bran said. 'His mark is always on me,' Bran said showing them the burns on his arms from when he was grabbed in a vision.

'We will put you in the crypt where it's safest.' Jon told Bran

'No we have to draw him out or his army kills us all. I will wait for him in the woods for him.' Bran told them.

'You want to use youself as a bait?' Sansa asked

'We're not leaving you alone out there.' Arya told him

'He wont be alone.' Sasha said and Bran nodded gratefully to her.

'I'll stay with him as well,' theon said 'with the iron born. I took this castle from you once, let me defend you now.'

'We will hold off the rest of them for the rest as we can' Davos said

'Ser Davos and I will be on the top to give you the signal went to light the trench' tyrion told them. sasha scoffed.

'Tyrion-' Sasha began but dany spoke up silencing her.

'Ser Davos is perfectly capable of waving a torch on his own, you will be in the crypt.' Daenerys told Tyrion. Tyrion glanced to sasha and she was nodding in agreement. Something she never thought she would do with this white haired child.

'Your grace I have fought before I can do it again, along with the men and women risking their lives.' Tyrion reminded her

'There are thousands of them and only one of you. You cannot fight as well as they can, but you can think better than any of them... you're here because of your mind if you survive, if we survive I will need it.' Daenerys told him

'The dragon should give us an edge in the field' Davos went on

'If they are in the field they are not protecting Bran, we need to be near him not so near the night King won't come.' Jon said

'Has anyone ever tried to kill him?'

'No one has ever tried' Bran told them

'We are all going to die!' Tormund said 'but at least we died together,' he winked at Brienne.

'Let's get some rest,' Jon instructed 'Your grace' Jon said to dany before making a quick exit.

Ned followed after him. But jon wouldn't stop.

"JON!" Ned demanded.

"You lied.' Jon sneered. 'and now I know the truth, I slept with her, my aunt!' Jon said disgusted with himself but his feelings still remained for Daenerys. Ned pulled him into a room slamming the door behind them.

'I was trying to protect you!' Ned reminded him. 'and I did a damn good job of it too until we left winterfell.' Ned added.

'Lord Eddard Stark always a man of honor and honestly and nobility!' Jon began, ned didn't like his tone.

'You forgave YOUR Queen so easily for massucreing lannisters soldiers but you will not forgive me for protecting you?' Ned questioned. 'I did what I did, to save a life, your life! Daenerys did what she did, taking lives, hundreds to thousands of lives!' Ned reminded him. 'All for her gain, for her ego and her power and her control. What she did was selfish. What I did, I never got catelyn's trust after bringing you home. What I did ruined a marriage before it ever really began. It was a risk on me and my future but I did it because I loved my sister and she wanted you safe and the safest palce for you, was with me. family.' Ned told him. But jon shook his head still upset.'On top of that, I think you need to apologize to Sasha.' Jon stared at him pointedly. 'She was your queen, before Daenerys, did you forget that? You believed in her.' Ned reminded him.

'I never swore-'

'You never swore it, like your declaration to Daenerys but she believed in you and you believed in her. You were ready for her to take back the Iron throne before you met Daenerys. Or did you forget all we have been through since bringing you back to life? Did death cloud your mind?' Ned questioned.

'My mind is clear.' Jon told him defensively.

'Fine, don't forgive and don't ask for forgiveness, bed your aunt, watch her burn the world to ground, you along with it once this is over...' ned reached for the door holding the handle in his grasp. 'The man I saw at the wall, protecting others, leading...' Ned turned back to Jon. 'that was a man I was proud of, a man your mother would have been proud of.' Ned told him. 'The man I see now, isn't a man at all.' Ned spoke softly and calmly, his tone not malicious just honest. 'I see a boy yelling that the world isn't fair. The world isn't fair.' Ned confirmed. "But at least you are alive to witness it, to live through the pain and the trauma that life has to offer. You still have your two legs as well, you have your mind, and your body both strong.' Ned reminded him, Jon stood silently. 'I wanted to tell you.' Ned admitted. 'But I didn't want you to die in someone elses game, someone elses pain, someone elses revenge.'

Jon opened his mouth to speak but Ned pulled the door open stepping out into the hallway, slamming the door closed behind him.
