Valerie sat with Letty, Mia, Leon, and Jesse in the living room. Alex played Monopoly with Jesse and Leon while the girls talked.
"How much you wanna bet the guys are doing something they shouldn't be?" Mia asked taking a sip of beer.
"I'll bet a twenty"
"I'll double that."
Valerie looked over at Alex as she played and smiled seeing she was happy. Sure their lifestyle wasn't ideal but as long as her daughter was breathing and had a smile on her face that was more than enough for her.
"When the next job?"
"Friday."
"Same time as my date. Wanna say that a coincidence?"
"It was Dom's idea." Letty said
"Of course it is."
"Brian seems like a nice guy." Mia said changing the topic
"He is. I like him a lot."

"Thank god me and Dom aren't the only couple around here." Letty chuckled
"Give me all your money boys!" Alex cheered making the girls laugh.

"Your just a sore loser Uncle Leon."
"Yeah man, give the kid the money." Jesse said and handed over a fake hundred.

"Do I hear sore loser speak?" Alex teased.
"This is so rigged." Leon scoffed and got up to grab another beer.
"Grab me a ginger ale" Alex yelled and Leon gave her a thumbs up.
"Did you finish you homework?" Valerie asked
"I'm stuck on a few math questions but other than that I'm all good."
