The group made it back to the compound and Han had Valerie's arm around his shoulder helping her since she couldn't walk too well. Brian's smile instantly dropped and went over to his wife.
"What the heck happened?" Brian asked as Valerie put her other arm around him for support.
"We met Dom's girlfriend. She's lovely." Riley said
"Are you all right?" Brian asked
"Just dandy" Valerie lied and Roman brought a chair for her to sit down.
"Your bleeding"
"You should see the other guy." Valerie joked
"Not funny."
"It's a little funny"
"Do you enjoy giving me heart attacks?"
"I wouldn't be me if I didn't."
"I'll grab you some Advil." Brian said giving her a kiss on her other cheek.
"You packed Advil."
"Along with fifty other pain meds. I learned my lesson from last time." Brian said and Valerie smiled. Brian accepted she would fight, even though he hated the idea he knew that's who Valerie was. So instead of fighting her on it he would just help with the aftermath.
"Can I have one too?" Han asked rubbing his forehead. Brian nodded and once he took one for Val he tossed Han to bottle.
"Thanks, Blondie." Valerie said and kissed his cheek.
"Tej, what have you got? Footage, CCTV? Talk to me."
"I just went through all of it. Believe it or not, everywhere Shaw's team is, the cameras are down." Tej told Hobbs
