Valerie sat in the pit next to Dom and watched as Jack began the race. Jack Toretto was a good driver so they were confident he could win, Val notified Jakob seemed off so she walked over to him.
"What's up J?" She asked handing him a water.
"Nothing"
"Liar"
"I'm just nervous"
"Why? Jack will be fine" she said but he didn't answer
"Why do I feel like you know something I don't?" Valerie said getting a little worried
"I...I screwed up Val" Jakob confessed
"What are you talking about?"
"Dad...he- he can't win this race. We're in debt"
"How?"
"Ever since you stayed with us moneys been tight. I-he asked me for help."
"Help how?"
Before he could answer Valerie heard Dominic scream in horror. The two's eyes widened seeing Jack's car flip and burst into flames. Dom began to run towards the scene making Valerie grab him.
"That's my dad! That's my dad! Wegot to get him out of there. That's my dad!" Dom screamed
"Dom stop! He's gone....he's gone" Valerie whispered and saw Jakob standing there in shock. This was definitely not how she thought her day would go.
