The siblings pulled up to the race and Valerie looked around for Letty. This was definitely better than the LA street races. She pulled up next to Letty making her turn.
"You've got some serious balls, chica."
"So I've been told."
"You know, you're lucky I missed my shot." Letty said
"I think you hit your mark."
"Really? What is it with you? Do you got a death wish or something?" Letty asked
She couldn't understand why Valerie was so stubborn to speak with her. Letty had shot her and Val still didn't back down.
"If that's what it takes. I just want to race."
"You might lose your car."
Valerie laughed and realized just how similar to Spencer Letty was. They were definitely cocky when you first met them but they had good hearts. That's why Valerie loved Spencer. Not because of how he raced but because he cared. She had already lost one Ortiz sibling and Valerie Toretto was not going to lose another
"Let's do it."
"Your funeral." Letty chuckled
"Ride or die, remember?" Valerie said and saw her face soften.

The three hit the petal and rushed forward through the small arch in front of them. They turned into on going traffic and onto a round about. Valerie drifted gaining to lead but Letty shifted in front making Valerie smile
"Just like old times."
They turned again and went down the street and saw cops coming from behind. Valerie hit the gas making her and Letty tie. Dom and Valerie spun and got one of the cop cars to crash causing Letty to just smirk
