The next morning Hobbs went to his base leaving the crew in the compound. Valerie walked over to Tej who was on his phone.
"Tell Suki I say hi." Valerie said sitting next to him.
Tej nodded and after a few more minutes hung up,
"How's Suki?"
"Good, she says hi. Misses everyone."
"You should bring her over after this is all over."
"I'm sure she would love that. Just make sure Leo doesn't cook." Tej said making Valerie laugh
"Last time he came over we all gave our plates to Jesse." Valerie chuckled
"You see that's a reason to get a dog. Their the perfect cover."
Valerie smiled and pulled out her phone. She saw Alex was calling and quickly picked up.
"Hey, Dove."
"Hey mom, is Brian back yet?"
"No not yet."
"I'm sure he'll be back soon."
"I hope so, how's Sky?"
"She's perfectly fine. Hasn't cried yet so that's good."
"You've done your schoolwork too right?"
"Yes mom, and I finished Gone With The Wind like dad asked."
"Good, now there's an extra twenty in your nightstand drawer if you want to go grab some food."
"Thank god. I love Aunt Mia, Elena, and Monica but I could use a break."
