Valerie Toretto stood outside the state prison next to her car and smiled seeing Dom walk out.
"What are you doing here?"
"I may or may not have hacked to see when your release was" Val shrugged and hugged her brother tightly
"Missed you man"
"Same here" Dom said but Val saw something was off
"What's wrong?"
"I'll tell you later" Dom said and just got in the passenger seat. Valerie wanted to push the matter but knew Dom probably wouldn't give her an answer.
Val drove over to the street race that was happening that night and once they parked Dom smiled seeing his family was standing around his car. Letty pushed him back but then kissed him making Val chuckle. She stood next to Spencer wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Miss me?"
"Always, you race?"
"I was waiting for you" he replied and gave her a kiss.
"Where's J?"
"Taking a victory lap" Spencer said and Val turned to see him cheering with his friends.
"Who wants next? Speed Queen?" He asked and Valerie shook her head. She knew she would win so she decided not to race him. He deserved to enjoy his victory
"I said, who wants next?!"
"I got next." Dom said but he wasn't smiling like usual, he was angry.
"Dom. Well, when'd you get out, man?" Jakob said and went to hug him but Dom didn't let him
