The crew continued driving on the ice and Izzy couldn't believe how Alex had a smile on her face. They could die any second and she was smiling like a kid in a candy store.
"We got another problem. That truck's got enough missiles to take us all out." Little Nobody said
"Then don't give 'em a target." Dom said simply. He drove behind Alex along with Brian and Letty.
"Everybody, get in front of us, line up, and we'll take the hit." Hobbs instructed
"What?"
The team got in formation and Hobbs got the brunt of it. The back of his car was in flames and Roman was screaming
"Hang in there, guys. We're almost to the lock." Tej said
Brian looked at the cars behind him and knew their chances of getting out of here were small. He knew he shouldn't have let Alex join them. She might not be a kid anymore but she was still his daughter.
"They're locking on. Sorry, guys, I got no tricks left." Tej said
"What do we do now?"
"We start praying." Letty said and Alex saw a car driving up behind them. But unlike the others this one she recognized. It was Valerie's.
"No fucking way" Alex smiled
"What?" Izzy asked not seeing it
"Well the good news is we're saved"
"And the bad?"
"Those guys aren't" Alex said and Valerie's car came crashing through. She swerved into one that had a missile ready to go and moved it so it hit the truck next to them instead.
