Once they returned to the garage Brian looked for Alex but she wasn't there. He tried calling her again but got sent to voicemail.
"Hey Princess please call me back I'm starting to get worried over here...just let me know your ok" he said and hung up. He kicked the side of his car catching Dom's attention
"She'll come back"
"I just don't get why she has to be so stubborn" Brian sighed
"Valerie's her mom. Of course the kids stubborn." Dom said making Brian smile a little
"I miss her. Hell the only reason some of these jobs were enjoyable was because Valerie was here."
"This team has lost too much. We don't turn out back on family no matter what. Valerie has to have a reason for doing this."
"It better be a good one." Letty muttered causing the two look at her.
"What's wrong Letty?" Dom asked his wife
"Apparently Spencer's in their little group." Letty said and everyone went silent. Brian wasn't one to be overly jealous but he did have his moment. Right now he wished nothing more than to run Spencer over with his Skyline.
"Who's Spencer?" Little Nobody asked
"He's..."Roman started but after getting a glare from Brian he shut his mouth
"Why the hell would Valerie work with her ex-husband? I thought she hated him?" Tej said
"Maybe she doesn't anymore" The trainee suggested
"She does" Letty corrected
"But-"
"No buts, There's no way Valerie would ever want to work with him or Cipher so what we should do instead of coming up with excuses is find out what they have on her." Brian said
