𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃 - 𝐫.𝐚

I SAT ON MY BED sketching a picture of my grandma, she was in the hospital and i was gonna surprise her with the picture when i saw her next.

i heard a knock at my door, i turned my head to my door "it's open" i said, the door opened revealing my brother alex "hey, do you mind going to the grab n go and getting a couple of things for mom" he said

"but it's dark out!" i said "you'll be ok just take a pocket knife" he said "can't you go?" i said "i'm grounded, mom doesn't trust me going out and she's feeling sick so...please." he said

i sighed before putting my book down "fine" i said grunting, "thank you!! oh here's 20! there's enough to buy yourself something too, we just need milk bread and...cough lollies" he said

i nodded "got it" i said grabbing my jacket, i shoved the money in my pocket "cya" i said as i left the room, i started walking to the grab n go

it was super dark, the only thing keeping me from seeing ahead of me was the street lights, they were pieces of shit anyways, they always flickered

i turned my head behind me checking to make sure no one was there, i turned my head back scared someone would be infront of me, i kept my head down and sped up my pace

eventually i made it to the grab n go safe, when i entered i took my hood off, the shop was pretty quiet, there only had like 4 boys in there, they were all stuffing around

i sighed and made my way to get the milk, i grabbed the milk and bread, i entered the lollie section, that was where the cough lollies were, there had 3 boys in there looking at lollies

i grabbed the lollies and went to leave when "oh hey" i heard someone say, i turned around and saw a boy who was probably 1 year older then me, his friends behind me looking me up and down

i felt really uncomfortable and intimidated "hi?" i said "what are you doing here?" he said "getting things" i said, he nodded "your pretty" he said smiling

"uh...thanks" i said "can i get your number?" he said, i shook my head no "why not, i'm harmless" he said "i just don't want to" i said 

he stepped forward, i stepped back afraid "scared?" he said, his friends behind him chuckling

that's when i felt someone intertwined there hand with mine, there hands were warm and soft "hi darling" i heard someone say, he brought me into a hug "play along" he whispered to me, when he pulled away i got a look at his face

he had such a dreamy face, beautiful eyes, beautiful lips, beautiful hair, he wore a bandana, he even had good fashion.

"hi" i said smiling at him, i turned my head back to those boys who were looking at the boy confused

"uhm hi?" the bandana boy said "hi" the boys said "can i help you?" he said, the boys shook their heads and walked away, they looked scared.

the boy turned to me "you ok?" he said staring into my eyes, i stared into his and nodded with a smile, he smiled "that's good" he said "thank you" i said

"no problem, you gotta watch out for boys like them, they go for the pretty ones" he said chuckling, he had perfect straight teeth

"yeah" i chuckled "so uh...you ok to walk home or do you want me to take you?" he said "uhm, i suppose i could use the protection" i said

he nodded "understandable" he said smiling, we walked to the cashier, i paid for my things and we headed out of the shop "i didn't catch your name" he said "oh y/n" i said "nice name" he said "thanks what's yours?" i said

"robin, robin arellano" he said "i like it, the last names nice" i said "yeah you want it?" he flirted, i chuckled shaking my head, my cheeks heating up.

he chuckled at my red face, "i'm only joking" he smiled "i know" i said smiling "i mean unless you actually want it?" he said smirking "why not" i joked, it wasn't really a joke tho.

"we'll work on it then" he said smiling "oh?" i said "what's your number?" he said, "how do i know your not like the grabber or something" i said

"you can't say his name dumbo" he said "you really believe that story" i said "i mean no but im not risking it, i mean i like my life" he said

i chuckled "so...number?" he said, i told him my number, he said it a few times to himself so he wouldn't forget it.

"ok i think i got it" he said "don't forget" i said "i won't" he said, we arrived at my door step

i stopped infront of my house "is this your house?" he said, i nodded "really! i live like 2 houses away from you!" he said "really!" i said "yeah that one!" he said pointing

"oh that's cool" i said smiling "yeah" he said, it was awkward after that, we just stared into each other's eyes, i spoke up so i could break the silence

"so uhm thanks again for helping me" i said "no worries, anytime" he said shrugging with a smile

i leaned in hugging him "i'll call you when i get home" he said smiling "sure i'm not doing anything anyways" i said, he smiled nodding "cya" he said
