I HAD RECENTLY MOVED back to my home town, north denver after living in california for 7 years, i'm now 15.

there's one person i'm desperate to meet up with, vance, he's my best friend. we used to call each other every friday and tell each other how our week was

i haven't actually seen what vance looks like, the last thing i saw was 8 year old vance, im interested to see what he looks like now.

he doesn't even know i'm in denver, i'm gonna surprise him at school.

i woke up super tired, i spent most of the night nervous, what if he doesn't like me anymore? i doubt it tho.

i got up and got dressed, i wore a long sleeve white shirt with flared jeans, i did all the other essentials and started walking to school.

as i walked along the side walk i noticed a crowd, i ran over to it to see what the fuss was about, wait is that....ROBIN ARELLANO!?

"no way" i mumbled, he was bickering with moose, the fucking cunt. well he was when he was 8, he probably most definitely still is

"do it unless you're scared" robin spat at moose, i didn't exactly know what was going on but i knew the results weren't gonna be pretty.

i watched as they fought, by the time the fight was over moose was in a pile of his own blood, his face mangled.

everyone was shocked and started leaving, that's when robin turned to me, his eyes widened "y/n!?" he said "that's me" i said "jesus you've changed" he said

"i've changed!? look at you" i said smiling, he smiled as he brung me into a tight hug "i missed you so much" he said "i missed you too" i said as we both pulled away from the hug

"never knew you did so much damage" i chucked "yeah" he chuckled "one day i just snapped, i got into a fight with some dude who was pissing me off, i didn't even realise how much power i had with these fuckers" he said holding his fists up

i chuckled "well it was good seeing you, have you seen vance?" i said, he nodded "you're gonna be in shock once you see that mother fucker" he chuckled "really?" i said, he nodded

"the dudes a machine" he said "oh" i chuckled "alright well i'll try find him cya robin!" i said as i jogged off

i went to go find vance, that's when i came across a bleacher, i heard a deep voice, i decided to see what was there.

i was shocked to see vance and some other boy i didn't know smoking weed.
vance looked at me, his eyes super red.

his eyes widened, he hit his friends arm "is there a girl there or is it just me!?" he said to his friend

his friend squinted his eyes "nah man there's a girl there" he said "shit, i thought it was like a guardian angel" vance laughed

i frowned "vance?" i said "yeah?" he said, did he not recognise me? "it's
y/n!"   i said

his eyes widened "wait...holy shit!" he said as he stood up, he literally ran over to me and picked me up, his hands around my waist as he squeezed me

"holy shit i missed you!" he said "i missed you too!" i said, he put me down in front of him.

"holy shit you're hot" he said smiling "all you" i said smiling, he chuckled
