I teleport to the gym where I know I will find my brother. I walk in, and he is seemingly trying to break yet another punching bag.
"Trouble sleeping?"
He chuckles. "You're here with a mission, ma'am?"
"I am."
"Trying to get me back in the world, sis?"
"Only when I'm off the clock. Right now, I'm trying to save it." I hand him the Tesseract file. "Now, I know. I wanted to leave it in the ocean, but Howie didn't like that idea."
"Who took it from you?"
"He's called Loki. He's not from around here. There's a lot we'll have to bring you up to speed on if you're in. The world has gotten even stranger than you already know."
"At this point, Ady, I doubt anything would surprise me."
"Ten bucks says you're wrong, hon. There's a debriefing packet waiting for you back at your apartment. Love you!"
"I love you too, sis!"
