T'Challa left last night to get Nakia, and they will be here soon. I hope he wins her heart back.
"Queen Mother, Princesses— My comfort for your loss."
"Thank you, Nakia. It is so good to have you back with us."
"Princess Isi, I offer you the utmost respect for carrying children for your brother and his wife."
"Thank you, Nakia. It is good to have some light in this time of great darkness. Take her to the River Province to prepare her for the ceremony."
"Yes, General."
"Okoye," I begin, "did he freeze?"
"Like an antelope in headlights."
Shuri and I high-five while laughing.
"Are you finished?"
"You may go, Okoye."
"So surprised my sisters came to see me off before our big day."
"You wish."
"Chall, we're here for the EMP beads. Since I got here, we've developed an update."
"Update? No. It worked perfectly."
"How many times do we have to teach you?"
"Chall, just because something works doesn't mean that it cannot be improved."
"You are teaching me? What do you know, Shuri?"
"Everything I've taught her."
"Yeah, more than you."
"I can't wait to see what kinds of updates you two have made to your ceremonial outfits."
We both flip him off.
"Girls!"
"Sorry, Mother!" we yell.
"How are my boys?" I ask as I see my husbands.
"Wishing we could stay longer."
"I know, but you'll see me again soon, I promise."
I give them both kisses, and they leave. Tony to the compound, and Bucky to living on the run.
