35. The Re switch

9.00am Morning, at Pr Amar's house..

The day finally arrived. Nila and Sooraj, along with Riya and Avinash reached early as they also wanted to witness them getting back to normal. Pr. Amar opened the door and asked them to wait for him inside. They were awestruck, seeing the interiors of the house.

Riya: Wow,. Awesome lighting..

Avinash: Yeah. I love the interior work especially.

They talk and the servant gave them coffee and snacks.

Riya: So what next, Are you both gonna be back to the old rebel mode again?

Nila and Sooraj smiled at this.

Nila: No. We've decided to become the best of friends after this. From now onwards, we won't fight, prank or snitch on each other. In the remaining 4 months of our academic year, we'll be the best of friends. Right Sooraj?

Sooraj: Exactly. From now onwards, no more fighting. Only friendship.

Riya and Avinash were wonders truck by this.

Avinash: Oh, that sounds really great. I'm glad that the two year old enmity finally came to an end. The both departments will be at peace.

Riya: All credit goes to Amar Sir and his invention.

Sooraj: Speaking of that, I wanted to ask something. Riya, was it you who gave the idea for ruining my presentation that day?

She choked on the coffee and glared at Nila.

Riya: You told him??

Nila (demurs): Sorry, but we confessed to each other about the nasty things we've done to each other in the past. On the other hand, I was feeling really guilty about that. So I apologised.

Riya: uh... yeah it was me. It was when you made our junior complain about her. She was so angry that day that she wanted to retaliate. So it was me who gave her the idea. I'm really sorry.

Sooraj glared at Avinash and he hid his face behind the cushion.

Sooraj: You stupid! What did you say then? Hey! Don't suspect my Riya! My baby is too innocent to do such a horrendous thing!! Innocent my foot! She was the mastermind behind the whole mission!!

Nila (laughs): Of course she's really innocent....Seriously, Your boyfriend knows nothing about you. Ha ha ha.

Avinash stared at Riya and she pulled out her tongue, making a cute face.

Avinash: I've always considered her as an angel that's why.

Nila: Well, she's an angel outside and a demon inside. (laughs)

Riya playfully smacked her arm.

At the same time, Pr. Amar walked downstairs and all of them stood up. Adjusting his cuff, he greeted them.

Pr. Amar: Good morning both of you. Hey, you both are also here? (Looks at Riya and Avinash)

Riya: Yes sir.

Pr. Amar: Nila told my everything that day. See this is a very confidential matter so please told tell this to anyone else. You got me?

Avinash: Yes sir. You can trust us . We will never betray our friends.

Pr. Amar: Glad to hear that. So are you both ready to go  back to your bodies?

Nila and Sooraj: Yes sir.

Pr. Amar: The doctors and lab assistants will be here any moment from now on. Before that, I wanna ask. How was the experience of being another person?

Nila: To be frank, it was difficult at first. But I tried hard to adapt to the changing lifestyle. I always whined for being a girl, after being him, I understood the value of my life. I would never think like that in future. Being a guy was fun and challenging at the same time.
