69. A Pick me Girl

Good morning guys..

Nila walked inside the class towards her new group of friends in the class. In a span of six months, she has abled to develop a lot in her career and life. Her new friends were also supportive enough.

Harley: Hey Nila!

Ana: Bonjour

Nila: Bonjour. What's this? A new fashion magazine? Gimme that!

Ana: Wait, let me finish looking.

Nila: Awesome designs. Ones from the recent Met Gala. I recently went to the fashion expo which had happened previous Friday at Times square. The dresses were just mind blowing. Especially the glitter work. Daniel, say something

A tall blonde boy with square shaped glasses was silently reading his book on Electrochemistry. 

Daniel: I'm sorry I'm not interested in fashion Nila.

Nila: What are you doing. Cramming all of the text that you could throw up all the answers during the questionare hour and put all of us at stake! Enough studying.

She pulls the book away from him.

Daniel: Gimme that back.

Nila: First treat me to a nice latte. Then I'll think about it. (grins)

All of a sudden the bell rang..

Daniel: Fine. It's time for classes.

Nila: Uhh...not again. Can I skip this hour please?

Harley: No way. You are coming with us. Get your ass off the chair!

Nila: I'm gonna snooze off for sure. Just for today. Not anymore.

Despite of all her pleas, Harley, Ana and Daniel drag her towards the class.

Same time in London.

Stacy was working on her pc till she saw Sooraj coming inside the lab, she immediately went inside the washroom to fix her makeup. Zoey was sick and tired of seeing this.

Stacy: Zoe, do I look great?

Zoe: Uh..I think so

Stacy: What do you mean?

Zoe: I mean yes you do.

Stacy: Will he like it?

Zoe: I'm not sure

Stacy: Why are you saying like this? Yesterday I went to the beauty salon to do a nice pearl facial and straightened my hair. Wont he like it?

Zoe mv: He won't even notice.

Stacy: I can't understand. I'm way more pretty, hot and sexy while Nila is just an average looking girl. I've seen her photos. Then why did he fall for her? What's in her that's not in me?

Zoe: I dont know.

Stacy applied lip gloss on her lips and looked in the mirror.

Stacy: Wait and watch how I'm gonna woo him today.

Zoe: Not again.

She walked towards Sooraj who was busy taking necessary printouts from the fax machine.

Stacy: Good morning Sooraj

Sooraj: Morning Stacy .

Stacy: Looks like you're busy

Sooraj: Yeah. The professor has told  me to get 65 copies of the data analysis report. Wish I hadn't run into him.

Stacy: That's bad. Do you need help?

Sooraj: No thanks. I can manage on my own.

Stacy was trying hard to make him look at her while Sooraj was busy working. She got fed up

Stacy: Uh..Sooraj

Sooraj: Yes?

Stacy: Can you tell me how I'm...

Suddenly his phone started to ring.

Sooraj: I'm sorry I'm a bit busy. I need to go now. Will meet during lunch break. Bye.

He walked away to attend his call while she stomped her foot hard on the ground.

Stacy: Stupid fellow! You have no idea how much time and money I had to spend for this look and outfit.

Later that night

Nila was busy watching Miraculous while Leah was trying to send her nudes to her boyfriend.

Leah: Seriously girl, are you 21 or 11? Watching kid shows at this age

Nila: I'm way more younger than you Miss mature. I won't stop watching cartoons no matter how much I grow up.  What are you doing?

Leah: Josh has been asking for a long while. If it's a bit late, he keeps on pestering. I don't know what to do with him.

Nila: Uh...that's gross.

Leah: You guys don't send eachother?

Nila: Nope.

Leah: Well thats strange. Cause like Zendaya has said in Euphoria- Nudes are tokens of love nowadays.

Nila: That's a sad reality. I hate sending nudes. It's an invasion to your privacy. Also it's likely to get leaked

Leah: Yeah but I'm surprised. Then how do you guys manage your relationship. Wait, you guys haven't seen eachother naked right. I got it. You both may be clinging to that old notion of everything after marriage right?

Nila: No. We've had sex before.

Leah: Then what's the problem? I do t get it.

Nila: It's just we are not comfortable with sending nudes to eachother.

Leah: Hasn't he asked you to send even once?

Nila: Nope. He respects me and my boundaries. He never tries to cross them or do anything that would hurt me till now.

Leah: Wow. Then he's a gentleman. O never knew that boys like this still exist.

Nila: Yeah. Our relationship is strong soul bond with each other. We understand deeply and respect each other. We fell in love before we even touched eachother. Moreover Sooraj is a gem and one among trillions. Always he asks for consent everytime we were intimate with each other. Our relationship is built in true love, trust and respect. He makes me feel special and treats me like a princess. I feel so lucky and privileged.

Leah: You're so lucky. Wish I had a relationship like that. He's indeed one among millions. Never let him go away.

Nila: Never. My Sooraj is the best man in the whole universe. My soulmate..

Nila looked at his photo lovingly and kissed it
