All of spectators broke into bouts of thunderous applause as the first slow dance ended. It was time for the second round.

Sooraj: Ready for the next one?

Nila: Sure, but let's go and help ourselves to some drinks first.

Sooraj: Okay.

At the refreshments table.

Pr. Mary: What is this! Nobody has even touched my vegetable centre piece! Do you know how long it took to make this?

Pr. Amar: That's why I told you to bake a cake instead. Come on, who likes to have a frigging salad?

Pr Mary rolled her eyes and Pr. Amar knew he was in trouble.

Pr. Mary: It took hours of effort to make this riverside scenery and this looks like a frigging salad to you? How could you...

Pr. Amar: Listen Mary...I didn't mean that..I'm sorry

Pr. Mary: No I don't need to hear anything!!

Pr. Amar: Mary!

Pr. Mary walked outside, followed by Pr. Amar who kept on apologizing..

Brian: Woah...look at that. That doesn't seem right.

Alex: What?

Brian: Looks like Pr. Amar and Pr. Mary picked up a fight.

Alex: Oh..that's bad. Anyway, today I won't be able to see some cheesy professor romance and gag (snickers)

Brian: Uh..that's was hard.

After a series of dances, Nila and Sooraj reached the refreshments table. Her eyes twinkled on seeing a wide variety of cakes, tarts, and doughnuts on the table.

Nila: Wow! I'm gonna have a blast today!

Sooraj: You're gonna eat up the entire table?(giggles)

Nila: No. Not all of them. I'm just gonna taste each of them(rolls her eyes)

They took glasses of wine and said cheers before taking a sip.

In the meanwhile...

Susan was sitting aloof on the table, sipping her cocktail and watching all others dance. All of a sudden, Morgan came and sat next to her

Morgan: Hey

Susan: Hey. What's up?

Morgan: Meh. Nothing. I'm just hanging around. What about you? Aren't you enjoying?

Susan: Proms are cool but it sucks when you don't have a partner.

Morgan: Ah..it's okay. Even I don't have one.

Susan; You don't get it. I also wanna dance and have fun. It just sucks to sit idle and watch others have fun. Feels like you're the only one left out.

Morgan: So..you wanna..dance.. with..me?

He hesitantly said and she looked up.

Susan: What?

Morgan: Nevermind. I didn't say anything.

Susan: Well..I guess I can.

He was awestruck for a moment.

Morgan: Really?

Susan: Yeah. Better than sitting idle like this.

Morgan: Let's go then.

The band played the next music and the singer started to sing the next song.
