Over the next few days, Y/N had barely gotten out of bed, barely eaten, barely done anything. Eclipse and Lunar had grown very worried, same as Bloodmoon. Sun and Moon were unaware as they hadn’t seen her since last weekend. That morning, Eclipse walked into her room, sitting on the edge of the bed near her. “I looked into things that could help you and.. One of the things said to create a habit of journaling.. So I thought we’d start with that.” He said, and she sat up to face him. He set a small notebook in her lap; it looked like it was taken from the gift shop near the daycare, as it was Sun and Moon themed. There was also a pen, on the end was a small plastic model of Sun’s head.

“I thought we could talk about it too..” He reached and placed a hand over one of hers. “If you’re okay with that..”
Y/N was silent, but then she slowly nodded. Eclipse tightened his hand over hers. “Do you.. Know what exactly caused this? You seemed to be doing so well up until recently..”
Y/N tightened her hand back in his. “...It 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘥 like that.” She said. “That doesn’t mean it was.. It never was.”
Eclipse hesitated before speaking again. “Was there anything that just.. Pushed you over the edge?” He asked. Y/N shook her head. “I guess it was just everything piling on, that finally got to me.”

Eclipse leaned over and kissed her forehead. “Well, we’ll tackle it one thing at a time.. How about we go for a walk? Just down to the park. Lunar said Jax wanted to go.”
Y/N slowly nodded, and Eclipse let go of her hand, standing up. “Go ahead and get ready, we’ll be waiting by the door.” He offered her a soft smile before leaving.
Y/N stared at the notebook and pen in her lap. She set it on her nightstand, getting up and changing into morning clothes.

After she finished changing, she brushed her hair, grabbing the mini-backpack bag she had, and putting the journal and pen in it, along with her phone. She walked downstairs, and put her shoes on. Eclipse, Lunar and Jax waited by the front door for her.
“Can we use my bike?” Jax asked as he looked up at her. Y/N sighed tiredly. “Sure..”
They all walked to the garage, where Jax sat in his ‘bike’. She walked over to grab the handle, but Eclipse took her hand, holding her there as Lunar walked over and grabbed hold of the handle.

Eclipse continued to hold her hand as they walked down the driveway, Lunar pushing Jax’s ‘bike’, and went down the sidewalk. There was a nice breeze going, and the sun was shining bright in the cloudless sky. But to Y/N, it still felt a little dull. Maybe she herself was the dull one.
“Mom?” Jax asked. Y/N looked up at him with a ‘hm’ sound.
“You sound upset..”
Y/N was about to say something, when Jax spoke again. “Are you gonna use the knife again..?”

That made Lunar trip on his own feet, and Eclipse stopped dead. Y/N cleared her throat, putting on a big, flashy smile. “W-what are you talking about, Jax?” She said through gritted teeth, casting a glance at Eclipse who was staring at her.
“Yknow, when you used the knife, and there was the red stuff?” Jax continued. Y/N felt Eclipse’s gaze boring into the back of her head. “U-uhm.. Can we talk about this later, sweetie?” She said nervously. Jax nodded, turning back to the path of the sidewalk.

Eclipse squeezed her hand, using his thumb to slightly slide up her sleeve above her wrist. She pulled her hand out of his, crossing her arms tightly. Eclipse got the message she didn’t want to talk about it, so he nodded to Lunar, who continued to push Jax’s ‘bike’ as they walked. Y/N didn’t so much as glance around at the scenery, just looked to the ground as they walked. Eventually they were at the park, where Jax got off the bike and ran to the jungle gym. Lunar pushed the bike and sat on a bench. Eclipse sat next to him and Y/N followed, sitting on the farthest end of them. Y/N stared at the ground for a bit, but eventually pulled out the notebook and pen from her bag. She opened up to the first page, just staring at it and tapping the corner with the pen as she clicked it open. She thought for a moment before she began to scribble down words.
