"You smell so incredibly good," I whispered as my surprise snuggled even tighter against me.
"That outfit looks great on you," Arwyn said and I heard him grin widely as he added, "But you still look better naked."
I turned and put my hands on his cheeks. "I missed you so much.", we both said at the same time before hugging each other.
"But don't you have to go to your university tomorrow?" "No, it's fine. I've taken a leave of absence for the rest of the week. And you don't have to either, Sebastian will write everything down for you. It's all arranged. But go on, get changed. I don't want to stay here all night."
In no time at all I changed in front of Arwyn and hand in hand we went outside. Arwyn was in his Bristol casual clothes, looking incredibly fantastic again.
"No wonder I'm still single with Caelie collecting all the handsome guys," Betty puffed with a smile on her face.
We said our goodbyes and went outside where Rhys was waiting for us, happily greeting Sebastian and Garreth.
Arwyn took my hand and pulled me in a different direction than usual. "We have to go left here.", I said and stopped when Arwyn looked at me and pulled strongly on my arm, "If I want to take a walk, we have to go to the right.", he said laughing and caught me when I almost fell due to his jerk.
"So Caelie. How was your day today?" he asked me as we walked a few feet ahead of the other three, who were probably already pretty hot for each other again.
"Normal for the most part, boring and dull probably describes it best," I replied a little sheepishly. "And other than that? Nothing positive?" "Yes there is, your flowers really surprised me this morning. And Garreth's cake was delicious, but I expected that." "Very good. And otherwise, Garreth and Sebastian haven't given you anything?" "Not so far." "Well, that's cruel of them to make you wait so long," he said, laughing lightly, "But who am I to get upset, after all, your birthday is exactly over and you don't have my present yet."
"It's enough for me that you're here at all, Arwyn. I don't need any presents from you." "It's nice that you don't need it, you're still getting something," he said, grinning widely.
We walked through a quiet alley I'd never been in before, despite having been in Inverness for almost a year.
"If we don't want to get confused, we should turn around," I said quietly as Arwyn stopped and looked deep into my eyes. He looked like he wanted to kiss me when he suddenly flicked me in front of the forehead, "Shut up and just enjoy the moment. And besides, Sebastian knows every corner of this city. He always finds a way out," he said laughing and finally gave me a kiss.
"How was your day?", I asked him as we continued walking.
"I went to my lectures early and at lunch time I went home. There afterwards I packed my things and left. The drive was annoying, but at least Rhys and I could take turns, and that way I could always relax a bit," he said, turning onto a foreign property that looked a bit abandoned.
"I think this is private property. We're not allowed on here," I said quietly, but Arwyn pulled me on. He took a key from his pocket and unlocked the door.
"Do you know anyone here?", I asked as everything worked inside me to deal with what was probably about to happen to me.
Arwyn switched on the light, pulling me even further, where I saw the sofa that was in his flat in Bristol.
I cried out loudly as I understood what his gift was.
"But what about your graduation?", I wept as I jumped around Arwyn's neck and we both landed a little bumpily on the sofa.
