It had been just over two weeks since we got back from the England camp.
Me and less had played two games each for Man City and man United and now we had a three week break for Christmas.
We had decided last minute to book a short week away to Italy to get away from the horrible British weather.
It was mine and less' favourite holiday destination and it was always a special place to go because of lessi's heritage there.
Little did she know that I had a surprise planned for her whilst we're there too.
"G, guess what?" I say to Georgia over the phone.
I was currently driving by myself in the car and was calling G using the Bluetooth.
"What, liv? There's so many different things I could guess."
"I'm currently on the way to the jewellers. I'm proposing to less when we're away." I reveal
"Oh my god!" G squeals. "No way! are you actually?"
"Yeah, I decided yesterday. I'm on my way now to pick out a ring."
"I can't believe it! My best friend is getting married!" G shouts
"She hasn't said yes yet." I point out
"Less is 100% saying yes. If she says no, it's not Alessia, it's Someone undercover as Alessia."
"Anyway, I'm just parking up so I'll come round later and show you the ring." I say
"You better, I want to see it."
"You will, I promise, oh and G, don't tell anyone else." I tell her
"I won't. See you later."

"Hi. Can I help you?" The sales woman says as I walk in.
"Hi, I'm looking for an engagement ring." I explain
"Well, just have a look round and if anything catches your eye just tell me and I'll show it to you." She smiles and walks away.
I knew less when it came to jewellery and knew she was fussy with it. She likes it simple and not over the top, but not too plain.
After a while of looking round, one spots my eye and I knew it was the one.

"Can I please have a look at this ring?" I ask, pointing to the ring.
She gets it out from underneath the glass and puts it on the counter.
I inspect for a short amount of time even though I knew it was the one.
"I'll take it please." I state
"Okay, just tell us what ring size and then pay. It will be £3,805." The woman tells me and I get my bank card out to pay. (A/N: I got the picture of the ring from a website and that was actually the price they were selling it for.)

I was driving to Georgias to show her the ring.
I still couldn't believe that I had just bought an engagement ring to propose to less.
Before we went away, I still had to go see Alessia's parents, carol and Mario, to get their blessings. I always saw it as a way of showing respect.
As I pull up on G's driveway, I have a look at the ring and just stare in awe at it. I just hoped less would say yes now.
"Right. Where is it? I want to see." I hear Georgia say as she walked out her house. At this point, I was still in my car and she started banging on the window.
"Alright, alright. You'll get to see it. Just wait." I laugh at her lack of patience.
I get out my car and make my way into her lounge and sit down with the box in my hand.
"You ready?" I ask and she nods her head frantically. I open it and her mouth drops open.
"My god! It's gorgeous. She's gonna love it."
"I hope she does."
"How much did you pay for it? That's a big Diamond, liv." G asks
"Just under 4 Grand."
"That's expensive." G points out
"Less is worth every penny of it, and more of course. She's not worth just 4 grand." I panic after I say the first bit.
"She's really gonna love it, liv." G comes and hugs me.
"Thanks, G."

"Hi Carol, can I come in?" I ask as she open the door.
"Of course, livvy." She says and we walk through to the kitchen. "Would you like a drink?"
"Just some water please." I responds. "Is Mario here?"
"Yeah, he just popped upstairs to grab something. So why are you here? And where's lessi?" Carol questions
"I actually have to ask something but I'd prefer if Mario was here." I respond
"We'll go into the living room whilst we wait for him." Carol suggests and I follow her through to the lounge.
"Hi there, liv. What are you doing here?" Mario asks as he sits down.
"I'm actually here to get your blessing to marry less. I know we're young but I've loved her since I was fourteen and I'll never stop loving her. I understand if you—" I say but carols stops me.
"Liv, of course we'd give you our blessings. We know how much you love less and we'd be honoured to have you as our daughter in law. You've always been an extra daughter to us since you entered Alessia's life." Carol says with tears in her eyes.
"Thank you, Carol." I say as I hug her
"We've been ready for this moment since you were both eighteen. I'm so glad our daughter has found someone like you, liv." Mario also hugs me
"Thank you. Would you like to see it?" I ask, referring to the ring.
"You've already got it?"
"Yeah." I say and get the box out and hand it to Carol first.
"Oh, my god. It's beautiful. It's just so less." Carol explains
"It really is beautiful." Mario states
"I'm so happy for you, liv. I know she'll say yes."
Just then, Luca and Giorgio, lessi's brothers, walk through the front door.
"Hey, Liv." They both say in sync.
"Guess what boys? Less and Liv are getting married." Carols says excitedly.
"She has to say yes first." I point out
"She's gonna say yes." Luca states
"Finally. I've been waiting for one of you to propose for years." Giorgio adds
"When are you proposing?" Mario questions
"You know the holiday we've booked for next week? Then." I explain
