Olivia's pov

"Lottie, come on baby. Mummy's got a big day tomorrow and she needs sleep." I whisper and continue to rock Lottie side to side.

I had changed her, I had fed her, I had done everything, but the crying didn't stop.

Eventually, I went into the bathroom and closed the door so less couldn't hear the crying.

She had a big day tomorrow, playing Denmark in Sydney.

"Baby girl, what's wrong? I've done everything. I'm sorry I can't help you." I say, tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Baby?" Less calls out, her voice all croaky.

"She won't stop crying, less." I sigh, in tears, as I try to stop Lottie crying. "I've fed her, I've changed her nappy. I-I just don't know what's wrong?"

"Oh, Baby, it's okay. Pass her here."

"I'm so sorry she woke you up. I went into the bathroom to stop you waking up but—" I begin but less cuts me off

"—Livvy, don't worry about me. Wake me up, okay? I'm here to help you. I'm sorry you had to deal with her by yourself." Less presses a light kiss to my lips before turning her attention to Lottie.

After only just one minute, less managed to stop her crying and lottie was now fast asleep laying on less' chest.

Less got up and put lottie in her crib before making her way back to lay in bed.

She laid down and pulled me into her side, my head automatically going to rest on her chest.

"Why doesn't she like me? She always cries when I try to calm her down." I whisper as a tear falls off my cheek.

"Don't say that, baby. Of course she likes you, she loves you. You're her mama." Less kisses my head

"But—"

"—No buts. She loves you. So does Maisie and so do I. We love you so much, livvy."

"I love you too." I whisper, still crying.

"I'm so sorry I have to leave, baby. I'll be back so soon though." Less tells me as she hugs me.

Less and the whole team were making their way to Sydney to play against Denmark. It was an hours flight from base camp so they had to leave early in the morning.

"Don't say sorry, less." I say

"I'll ring you when we get there."

Less bends down to kiss Lottie and Maisie's heads, whispering something to them but I couldn't hear.

"I love you, baby."

"I love you too, lessi. Good luck, my love." I pull her into a lengthy kiss and she only pulls away after the last warning to get on the coach is called.

The following day, I decided to keep myself and the girls busy.

I actually had a lie in. By a lie in, I mean I didn't wake up until 8 o'clock which is late when you have two newborn babies.

I went down and had some breakfast, before FaceTiming less to see how she was.

They were just about to get massages so they were all ready for the match later.

The match was only at half ten tonight. It was on so late because the time in Australia was way ahead than the rest of the world, so they had to compromise on all the different times.
