Olivia's pov
The following day, we made our way to St George's Park for the Arnold Clark Cup.
The Arnold Clark Cup is a new tournament that is being held in England by the FA.
The four countries participating is us, Spain, Canada and Germany.
We each played each other and whosever has the most points at the end wins.
Leah was back playing and so I was back to being vice captain. Of course I was upset, I loved being captain, but I knew we were in safe hands with Leah being captain.

After we dropped Lola off at Laura's, we finally arrived at SGP after being stuck in traffic for two hours. A two and a half hour journey turned into a four and a half hour one due to a crash on one of the motorways.
When we entered, me and less were met with a very smiley looking Sarina.
"Liv, Just the person I was looking for. Do you mind if I borrow you for a minute?" Sarina asks
"Of course not." I say, confused, and look at less. "I'll meet you in the room, baby."
I kiss less quickly before following Sarina into her office.
We walk in and see Leah also sat down in a chair.
Me and Leah had always been close at camps. She was almost a big sister to me and because I hadn't seen her in months, she immediately gets up and we hug.
"Hi, livvy." She says as we continue to hug. Her, less and a few others like G are the only ones who call me livvy and I'm one of the only ones that call her Lee.
"Hiya, lee." We pull away and I sit down in the chair next to Leah. "What are we doing here?"
"Well, I'm gonna get straight into it, but me and Leah have been talking and we've decided to change the captaincy around again. Both, me and Leah, saw how well you were at being captain, and as soon as the final whistle went at the Latvia game, Leah messaged me and told me that she wanted you to be captain." Sarina explains
"I-I can't be captain. Not when Leah is the best captain the lionesses have seen. I can't do that to Leah, and I can't do that to everyone else. It's selfish of me."
"Don't lie, livvy. It's selfish of you if you don't take the armband. You were an incredible captain during them two games and don't get me started on how incredible you were at being captain at UNC." Leah states
"I can't." I refuse
"Liv, we're not giving you a choice. Leah's already backed out of being captain, at least for the Arnold Clark cup. After the Arnold Clark cup we'll make the final decision to keep it permanent or not, but as of this second, you're captain." Sarina justifies
"Are you sure?" I ask Leah
"110%, liv. The way how you argue with the ref if it's unfair, or the way who you run to a teammate if they're on the floor, it's all of that which makes you a good captain, and you do that best. You are gonna be not only the best striker England will see, but also the best captain." Leah says
"Thank you so much, lee." I say, teary eyed, and hug her.
"You deserve it, livvy. You really do." She says as we hug.
"Thank you, Sarina."
"Thank you, liv. Like Leah said, you're gonna be one of the best captains England will see." Sarina tells me. "I best let you go. Alessia is probably wondering what's taking so long."
"Yeah, she probably is. I can't wait to tell her." I laugh slightly and wipe some tears away. I'm not going to lie, I was crying out of pure pride.
Me and Leah both walk out of Sarina's office and as soon as we leave, I turn to her and hug her again.
"I can't believe this, lee. Why did you give up your captaincy? You are an amazing captain. You're an idiot." I shove her shoulder, playfully.
"Because I though it was selfish of me to continue being captain when our vice captain should be captain instead."
"Leah, don't say that. You were an amazing captain, end of that now, okay? You were amazing." I tell her
"Thank you, liv."
"I'm so lucky to have a vice captain like you." I say and side hug her
"It's getting late. Go tell your fiancé that she's marrying the captain. Congratulations by the way, livvy." She teases me when she says fiancé.
"I will. Goodnight, lee."
"Night, livvy. See you in the morning."

"Finally, I've been cold in bed without—" less begins hugs stops as she sees me walk towards the bed. "—Why have you been crying? What's wrong, my love?"
"Leah gave up her captaincy. Sarina told me she's almost 100% certain that I'm captain permanently." I explain
"That's incredible, livvy! Im so proud of you." Less gets up and kisses me passionately. "Why did Leah give up being captain."
"Because apparently she felt guilty knowing that the teams vice captain was better than the actual captain. Especially after the matches against Austria and Latvia. She said that I was an amazing captains and deserved it permanently. They'll make the final decision after the Arnold Clark cup but for now, I'm captain." I explain and smile
"Well done, baby." Less kisses my cheek.
"I'm gonna go shower, care to join?" I ask lessi
"How could I say no to that?"
