Olivia's pov

With a win against Everton, we were now focused on our game against Reading.

It had been announced that Leah was back in the squad and was on the bench tonight.

Jonas had explained that she'd probably come on at sometime during the match but was unsure at what time.

During warm ups, Leah had a massive smile on her face that didn't leave.

"I'm glad to finally play with you, cap." Leah says as she comes and walks next to me as we make our way back to the changing rooms.

"Me too, Le. I read somewhere that its been 542 days since we last played with each other. The euro final." I tell her

"Wow. That's 542 days of football we've got to catch up on."

"I'll tell you what. When you come on, if I'm on, kick it over the top and i'll volley it in." I state and Leah smiles and nods her head in agreement.

Less wasn't starting today and I was the only one upfront so I knew I was going to have to work really hard.

The match begins and we've had most of the possession. Reading would often go in for a tackle and would gain possession but less than ten seconds later, we'd have the ball again.

After several shots from a variety of people, we finally got our first goal. I had slotted the ball into the box, where Caitlin was and she tapped it into the bottom left corner.

Just 12 minutes later, I managed to get on the score sheet. I made a back pass flick to Steph, who was to the left of the goal, using my heel. She kept control of it and crossed it back into me and I tapped it into the goal.

As I was running back to restart, I looked over to the subs bench and saw Lessi sat talking to Lottie and Maisie, who was sat on her lap, pointing and smiling at me.

I make sure to blow them a kiss before the match restarts.

To add the cherry on top of a good first half, I had received the ball from Kyra on the far right of the goal but I still shot anyway.

Even if it didn't go in, it would have been a good cross. But my shot ends up slotting right into the bottom left corner.

Not even three minutes later, the half time whistle blew and we made our way to the changing rooms.

Le had been told that she was coming on in around the 60' minute.

After having a talk from Jonas, I place a kiss on less' lips and a kiss on Lottie and Maisie's heads and walk back out onto the pitch.

In the 51', Laia scored her first goal for Arsenal. We all hugged and congratulated her. It was a perfect header from her.

We were all still playing the match when a loud cheer was heard from the crowd.

I didn't even need to look up as to why they were cheering.

It was then announced that Leah and Beth were going to come on for Jen and Caitlin.

The crowd went wild when Leah entered the pitch.

Reading had a goal kick when they came on and so I ran up to get into position, patting Leah's back and smiling at her when I did.

Twenty minutes later, Leah got a hold of the ball. She then kicked it over the top and it landed just in front of me.

I ran to the ball and with one quick kick, I had volleyed it into the net.
