~ one hundred and twenty one ~

Olivia's pov

The past two weeks flew by.

With wins against Leicester, Brighton, Southampton and West Ham, we were sat comfortable on the table and now it was time for international break.

Me and less did a shoot with Wonderland. Less looked so good in every single outfit they put her in.

I also got told that I was clears to start playing full matches again.

I was called up for the next two international games for England which I cried about when I found out.

On the 27th, we made our way up to SGP with Beth.

When training started the following day, it felt so nice to finally wear an England training kit after so long.

Training went good, everyone was in top form. I just hope they show it in the matches.

We were on our way to Wembley now for the match against the Netherlands.

I genuinely felt as though it was my first game playing for England.

"You'll do great, kid. Stop worrying." Lucy says from behind me.

"You will, baby. I know you will." Less adds

When we arrived at the stadium, me and less go up to the family and friends section straight away and said goodbye to Lottie and Maisie.

Both mine and lessi's family was here today so the girls were in good hands.

We returned to the changing room and got dressed into our training kit and made our way onto the pitch to warm up.

"Liv, I'm not going to start you today. I know you've had confirmation that you can play full matches but you've only just received that news and I don't want to push you too far. Anyway, I think if we sub you on later in the game, you'll be an excellent super sub." Sarina explains as she goes over the lineup.

Less wasn't starting either so me and her walked to the bench, sitting down next to each other.

The teams come out from the tunnel and sing their national anthems before getting into positions.

In the 10', LJ gets possession of the ball in midfield and brings it up the pitch and passes to Hempo who's just left of the goal.

Lauren shoots but the goal keeper saves it.

Although the keeper clearly saves it and it goes out, a goal kick is given.

The goal kick is taken and as a result of it, the Netherlands score.

Both Lucy and Jess went to tackle her, both messing up resulting in her scoring.

Later on in the first half, we lose possession in midfield and the Netherlands take advantage of that.

Their striker shoots and although Mary saves it, she lets go of the ball and it rolls into the goal.

Mary punches the ground in temper before picking up the ball and kicking it.

This was a big match to Mary because she was captain today.

Millie has suffered a knee injury so she couldn't play, hence why Mary's captain.

The game resets and almost immediately, Chlo takes a shot outside of the box but she misses by an inch or two.

The first half finishes 2-0 to the Netherlands.
