~A Beautiful Tyrant!~

Tis another dream for Kalin, meaning the next adventure for Kalin starts again.  But this time, Kalin makes some new discoveries...

~Kalin's Dream~

With delicate handiwork with the knife as he carves into the apple, it was a unique show of an artisan.  It was as if the knife was the pencil to a white paper canvas.  With hardly any time made, he successfully made a rose-art carved apple.

"Wow, that's amazing.", Kalin.  "It's no problem, though this is the third time this week you asked me to make another apple carving.", Epel.

During lunch hour, Grim was taking a quick nap after he ate his plate.  While Epel and I had some free time since the other first years, Ace and Deuce had to go to the alchemy lab to prep for next period after they had their lunch.

"It's not my fault your so talented.  I never get tired of seeing whatever you make.", Kalin.

They kept on chatting about different things as the lunch hour went on.  As they were, Kalin kept on gazing at the rose carved apple.  Fascinated by the extricate details made.  Seeing this before him, Epel still couldn't believe that Kalin was excited by this pass the time hobby of this since it was a norm back at his hometown.  But still, he couldn't be help but feel happy to make someone else happy with what he can do with apples.  With that, he had this in mind...

"Since you like the different things I carve, might I make a suggestion for when you ask for the next one?", Epel.  "Hm?  What it would be?", Kalin.

Epel grows a smile and...

"...How about a heart apple?", Epel.

The look in his eyes almost had the illusion that he grew a bit older in Kalin's eyes.  Not expecting him to suggest that, she didn't know what to think of that.

"Uh, well...  You don't have to if you don't want to.   But I... wouldn't mind if you did...", Kalin.

Trying to keep a straight face, she couldn't help but play with a strand of her hair.  As to seeing this, Epel couldn't help but laugh at her attempt.

"Wha?  W-What's so funny of all sudden?", Kalin.  "Hah ha ha!  It's nothing.  Don't worry about it, I was just kidding.  ...I guess?", Epel.  "You guess?", Kalin.

Realizing it as a joke, Kalin continued to eat like it didn't affect her.  Though the red streak across her face said otherwise.

"Alright, jokes aside.  How about I make the poisoned apple again?", Epel.  "Oh, that's my favorite!", Kalin.  "Yeah, I know.", Epel.

And just like that, the sweet moment passes by quickly, resuming back to the normal conversation between the two.  Before more could be heard, the dream ends here and on to the next...

"Is someone... singing?", Kalin.

It's very faint but a slight sound of a singing voice is just within my ear's reach.  But the first thing to show out of the darkness...

"The Dark Mirror?!", Kalin.
