**YOUR POV**
„He should have called by now. Why isn't he calling?" I asked frustrated, pacing around in the kitchen the next morning.

It was already past 11 am and there was still no call. I kept staring at my phone that was laying on the kitchen island, hoping it would finally start ringing.

„He's gonna call soon, don't worry, baby." Harry came from behind my back and pressed a kiss to the top of my head. „It's all gonna be alright." His voice was soft and comforting, so I just nodded.

Not even a minute later it started ringing. I picked my phone up quickly and stared at it for a second before I looked up at Harry. He gave me a reassuring nod and even though I was incredibly terrified to answer, I pressed the green button and held the phone to my ear.

I walked outside of the kitchen as Doctor Russell talked to me and started to explain.

**HARRYS POV**
Obviously I was terrified of whatever news Y/n was about to get as well, but I saw the way she was already falling apart at the thought of the illness being back, I couldn't fall apart too. Not in front of her at least.

I let her walk outside the back, stopping as she stood on the porch and didn't wanna follow her and make her feel uncomfortable or something, so I just waited inside, watching her through the glass door and praying for it not to be cancer again.

Eventually, she hung up and I went outside to see if she was okay, what the news were and what the Doctor said. I couldn't see her face as she stood with her back facing the door and slowly made my way outside. Just then she turned around with tears in her eyes and fell into my arms.

„It's not cancer." She breathed out first and foremost, her voice fragile, but laced with relief.

I closed my eyes, letting out a deep breath of relief as well, thanking every single angel in heaven as I placed one of my hands on the back of her head to hold her even closer to me.

„I'm so fucking relieved, baby." I whispered in her soft hair that fell in my face.

„Me too, you have no idea." She said, letting go of me.

„What did he say is it then?" I asked, being still close enough to her to rub her back soothingly.

„He said that it can happen after having lymph node cancer and getting chemo that they swell, especially after a viral infection, which they saw in my blood that I apparently had. Remember I had this cold a few days ago?" She explained.

I nodded, knowing she did have a cold not too long ago, but didn't think it would cause this. She was fine after just one or two days after having a sore throat and a bit of a cough that was gone as quickly as it appeared. „Do you have to take medicine or what's gonna happen now?" I asked her.

„No. He said it's nothing serious and that it would go away on its own as soon as the viral infection is completely out of my system." Y/n explained, wiping the remaining tears off her cheeks. „Don't really care what else it is as long as it's not cancer. I'm so, so fucking relieved, Haz."

„Yeah, me too. I'm so glad it's nothing serious." I kissed her lips after cupping her soft and red cheeks, making her look into my eyes. „See? It's over...nothing to worry about anymore. You're healthy, you're absolutely fine. Nothing's gonna happen to you ever again, I promise." I softly ran  my thumbs over her cheeks.

Her lips formed into a tiny smile, a genuine one that I haven't seen in a while. It was small, but there and that already was so precious.

„I love you so much." I said, making her eyes water again before I softly kissed her lips a second time.

„And I love you." She responded, her voice still trembling.

„Now no more tears, okay? This whole scare is over now."

„Yeah." She nodded again as I let go of her cheeks. „We can finally go back home in peace now."

And that was exactly what we did. After this whole cancer scare, we tried to kind of forget about it and calm down from all the emotions going through our bodies the last 24 hours. We finished packing everything and went to the airport, having a quick lunch there before we got on our plane back to London. Since we left LA in the afternoon, we'd be in London at around 9 or 10 am, so we both tried to get some sleep during the 12 hour flight which did work for us since we both slept only for a couple hours last night because of all the worries and scares.

**YOUR POV**
Arriving at Heathrow airport, we were both rested enough to start the day all over again in London.

As soon as we sat in the car, heading to our house, I could feel the full amount of relief wash over me. We were finally home and I didn't have to worry about my health or anything. Knowing me and knowing my health, I thought that the cancer was 100% back and I'd have to go through everything all over again, so when Doctor Russell said that it wasn't cancer, that in fact it was something that wasn't serious at all, I could not believe it just then, but the amount of relief I felt was insane. I knew instantly that I still could live and enjoy life, that I could eventually start a family with Harry and there was still a chance of Harry and me growing old together.

Coming home to our beautiful home, the one we both loved so much and so desperately longed for whenever we were away for a while just felt a little bit more like home right now than it usually did.

As soon as I unpacked everything in our bedroom, I went downstairs into the kitchen where Harry was as he told me he'd start prepping lunch since it was already 12 pm. I watched him for a minute, his back facing me and went up to him, wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my head against his back, my cheek touching the soft fabric of his shirt.

I heard him chuckle at that and could already tell he was smiling before he set whatever kitchen tool he was holding down and turned around, hugging me properly after he pulled me in by my waist.

„I love you so much." I looked up at him, smiling while he held me close to his chest.

„I love you more, Y/n." He said softly, dimples popping before he leaned in to kiss my lips lovingly.
