You woke up the middle of the night feeling a cold chill over your body, you turn to see the guy with short brown hair and moles that you could join up like constellations. It was a friends with benefits situation and you'd always been fine with it until he started flirting with other girls, making you feel slightly uncomfortable as you didn't know how you really felt about him.

Without a second thought you scooted closer to him and lay your head on his chest, his body heat instantly making you feel warmer. You heard him groan slightly as he noticed what you were doing, "uh, y/n, we didn't agree to this." He complained as you lay your head on his chest.

"I'm cold." You whined as you wrapped your arms around him, you knew there were meant to be no feelings in this little affair but you couldn't help feel something for him.

He groaned before reluctantly resting his hand on your back and rubbing it up and down slightly. He had to admit, he did like the feeling of you laying on his chest but he had to snap out of his thoughts when he remembered he had been the one who didn't want any strings attached. However, he still kept his hand on your back as you both fell asleep in his bed again.

When you woke up in the morning to your dismay he wasn't next to you, he'd sneakily wriggled out of your grasp and was downstairs making breakfast. You pulled on one of his oversized shirts that you always stole and put on your jeans. Although you weren't a couple you still liked stealing his clothes which made him furious.

You sauntered downstairs and followed the smell of pancakes into the kitchen, Stuart turned around when he heard the patter of your feet against the cold tile floor. His eyebrows pulled together as he noticed you wearing another of his shirts, "really, y/n?"

You simply shrugged and sat down on one of the stools by the kitchen island, he sighed as he got another plate out for you. When he gave you the plate he shovelled a blueberry pancake onto it, the aroma made you hum in delight.

"This smells so good, Stewie." You chuckled as you began to eat it.

"Stewie?" He repeated, raising his eyebrows.

"It's cute." You giggled.

Something inside of Stuart ached as he heard your laugh, he desperately wanted to hear that laugh more often but he only saw you some nights and various mornings.

He checked the time on his phone, "well, I better go... see you next time." He smiled slightly as he left the kitchen, grabbing his jacket before heading outside to his car and made his way to work at Google.

You cleaned up the plates before leaving, grabbing your leather jacket and heading outside towards your car. Both of you had to leave at different times so that it wasn't suspicious to your co-workers, once you arrived you parked your car and headed towards your office. As you turned down one of the corridors you saw something that made your heart sink, Stuart was flirting with one of the new employees and she was a little too close to him. He was smiling and laughing with her, something he never did with you in public which hurt.

You quickly turned around and as the sound of your heels clicking on the tile floor could be heard Stuart turned and saw you walking away. He stepped away from the new employee slightly and stared after you as the young girl stood in front of him continued twirling her hair.

"So, about tonight?" The girl asked, snapping his attention back to her.

"Uh, I'm sorry, something came up." He stuttered before he began following you to your office. Since the walls to all of the offices were glass he could easily see you, but he noticed you wiping your eyes with your sleeves. He knocked lightly before you looked up, you gestured for him to come in and he closed the door behind him.

"Y/n... are you okay?" He asked quietly as he approached your desk.

"Yes, why?" You replied, not looking at him.

"Hey, look at me." He instructed.

You looked up at him sadly, he walked around to your side of the desk and leaned against it as he looked down at you.

"What's wrong?" He asked, looking into your eyes with his whiskey brown ones.

You let out a deep breath, knowing you should tell him, "it's just... whenever I see you flirting or laughing with others girls I get jealous... because I want you to look at me like that, I want to be with you in public... I don't just want the benefits anymore, I want more."

His eyes never left yours until you finished speaking, "I want that too, y/n... and I'm sorry if I've hurt you by flirting with other girls, I just thought that was what we both wanted... but it's not," he paused, reaching out and taking hold of your hand, "I want to do things that couples do, y/n... because the truth is I like you a lot."

"I really like you too... Stewie." You giggled slightly at the nickname, you watched as his lips curled into a smile and a faint blush appeared on his cheeks.

He took your face in his hands and leaned towards you, brushing his lips against yours, slowly kissing you.

"So, I don't have any plans tonight... can I take you on a real date?" He asked after he pulled away from the kiss.

You nodded slowly, "I'd love that, more than anything."
