he finally arrives in paradise, he saw someone at the other end of the beach.
as he got closer he noticed the outline of a girl, you felt someone's presence behind you and you turned to face them, finding yourself face-to-face with a handsome stranger.
"you must be thomas?" you blurted out, you'd heard the others talking about him after he arrived.
"yes... and you are?" he asked, his honey-brown eyes quickly flickering over your body.
"y/n." you smiled.
when you smiled, thomas couldn't help but smile back— something he hadn't done for so long after losing so many of his friends.
"it's nice to meet you, y/n." he replied.
"say... do you want to walk with me?" you asked, looking at the vast beach in front of you.
he nodded, "i'd like that."
as you both walked side by side along the beach, thomas couldn't help but feel the most relaxed he'd felt since he arrived. with the sound of the waves lapping against the sand and with you by his side talking freely, he finally felt like he had something he could look forward to in his life.
