Things quickly went south, and they got worse and worse until finally Goku began to charge a Spirit Bomb. Yamcha turned to the others. "Guys! Lend me your power so I can hold Frieza off until the Spirit Bomb is fully charged!" Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillin all nodded and quickly gave all their remaining energy to Yamcha, who powered up to his max and blasted off.
Frieza was about to kill Goku when suddenly he heard a voice ring out. "FRIEZA!!" Frieza turned and got punched into the ocean, then rose out of the water fuming mad. The person who had just socked him and sent him into the water was none other than Yamcha. Frieza charged, and Yamcha quickly moved out of the way, and they began a fierce clash.
Goku could now feel the Spirit Bomb's energy pulsing down from the sky. He looked up and grinned. "Alright! Just a little more..." Suddenly, there was a BOOM and Goku looked down. Yamcha had just been thrown into a mountain. Goku's grin turned into a grimace. "Come on, come on!"
Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan all stared in awe at the furious battle and the growing Spirit Bomb. "Krillin, Gohan, give your energy to the Spirit Bomb!" Piccolo instructed. Gohan and Krillin nodded, and the three of them began to also lend their energy to the Spirit Bomb.
"That energy is amazing!" Chiaotzu exclaimed. Tien nodded. "Goku must be using the Spirit Bomb." King Kai nodded, though he looked worried. "He certainly is, but I'm not sure if even the Spirit Bomb can defeat Frieza... Although, Goku's Spirit Bomb is definitely humongous."
The Spirit Bomb's energy suddenly spiked up, and Yamcha sensed that it was ready- just as Frieza whacked Yamcha across the face with his tail. Yamcha hit the ground and slid to a halt, then looked up to see Frieza pointing a finger into the air, a purple energy ball crackling with pink sparks above it. Frieza was grinning maliciously. "I'll just destroy this planet and all of you fools along with it!" Yamcha smirked. "Actually, look behind you."
Frieza's expression turned confused, and he began to turn as Yamcha looked over at Goku. "Goku, do it now!" Goku nodded. "OK! Here goes!" He threw his arms down, shouting "TAKE THIS!" Frieza turned and saw the Spirit Bomb lowering towards him, and his eyes widened. "What's this?!" He tried to hold back the Spirit Bomb, and he was failing when suddenly the dark aura from earlier returned.
Frieza grinned and began to push back the Spirit Bomb, but Yamcha quickly lent all his remaining energy, and the Spirit Bomb overtook Frieza, hurtling towards the ground with the screaming tyrant in its center. Then, it hit the ground at last and went up in a massive explosion that turned Planet Namek's entire sky blue.
