Hit went flying from Jiren's gut punch, but he managed to look up at the Pride Trooper as he was tumbling backwards. "He's completely adapted to my Time-Skip." Hit realized. Undeterred, he kept trying to use Time-Skip until finally Jiren began throwing rapid punches, which Hit barely managed to block. Finally, Jiren tried a kick, and that broke through Hit's guard. "Not a single attack of Hit's has worked on Jiren." Vados reminded Champa and Fuwa, the Supreme Kai of Universe 6. Fuwa placed his hands on his head. "Oh dear, oh dear." "Jiren sees through his movements." Vados explained. "Then why does he keep using Time-Skip?" Champa shouted. "That's true." Supreme Kai noted, "Why would someone like Hit keep using Time-Skip when it doesn't work?"

Jiren kept attacking Hit, but now something was different- Hit was actually blocking these attacks, not taking the brunt of them. Jiren threw a punch, but Hit dodged it using Time-Skip and appeared a few feet away. "How many times will you repeat this? Stop wasting time." Jiren said. "This is my job. You'll be joining me to the end." Hit replied. Jiren attacked, throwing more rapid punches and then kicking Hit into a pile of rubble. "That Jiren guy's got Hit on the ropes." Caulifla said, "He's seriously in trouble now. It's time for us to join in!" Cabba held an arm out to stop her. "Wait, please! Hit seems to have a plan." "What do you mean?" "Hit is making sure to block whenever Jiren hits him now. The damage he's taking should be minimal. He must be waiting for his chance to strike back." Hit began to stand up. "The timing of his counters is etched into my body's muscles now. It's time to finish up my job."

Hit held out his fist in front of him and began to charge up his Flash Fist Crush attack, which was an invisible strike with so much force behind it that it sent out a shockwave. He aimed at the pile of rocks in front of him, because Jiren was behind them. Hit fired the Flash Fist Crush, and Jiren held out his hand, blocking it. Then Hit appeared behind Jiren, who turned and got ready to throw a punch when Hit struck him right in the heart. "I needed this one hit." the assassin explained, "This hit will bind you in a cage of time!" Jiren went flying to the edge of the stage, but he managed to stop. "Such an attack is futile... Hm?" Suddenly, Jiren began glowing purple and stood absolutely still. Hit landed on a nearby rock with one hand outstretched, and his hand was also glowing purple. Yamcha was surprised. "Hey, what's wrong with Jiren? Did Hit freeze him in place?" Marorizu nodded. "I think so. Maybe this move is Hit's trump card." Jiren was moving now, but only the tiniest movements could be performed. Hit clenched his teeth, then looked at Kale, Caulifla, and Cabba. "Now's your chance!" "Hit." Cabba said. "Leave this guy to me. I don't need your help! You've got your roles that only you can play for Universe 6!" Cabba, Caulifla, and Kale all agreed to this and went off to try and fight the other warriors. A glowing purple orb appeared in front of Hit's outstretched hand, but as this happened Jiren began moving more noticeably. He began taking extremely slow but definite steps towards Hit, who looked like he was really struggling with keeping up the cage of time. As Jiren kept moving closer, Hit's eyes narrowed. "I won't have enough power to keep him frozen until the end. In that case, I'll just have to put all my chips on the table! Even though gambling is not very assassin-like." He jumped forward and reeled back the arm with the orb in front of it. "I'll finish it with this attack! Making Universe 6 win is my job!" He thrusted the orb-holding arm forward towards Jiren's face- and was abruptly stopped by an energy shield. "What?!" Hit exclaimed. Jiren slowly reached out and grabbed the orb, though the effort made him clench his teeth. "An assassin's pride? What rubbish!" the Pride Trooper declared as he crushed the orb.

Jiren began to pummel Hit with so many attacks that he sent the assassin flying all the way to the other side of the stage. As Hit struggled to his feet and climbed out of a pile of rocks, Jiren appeared in front of him and fired a Power Impact. Hit was nailed in the stomach by the blast and he went flying out of the arena. "It's over now." Jiren declared, and he turned away, folding his arms and closing his eyes as the Power Impact exploded. Hit was sent flying off the edge of the stage. "Hit!" Cabba and Goku both shouted. "No way!" Yamcha exclaimed, "That kind of power..." Marorizu had a grim expression on her face. "Jiren's strength is on a whole other level." The pillar that displayed the amount of time left sank into the arena. It was now halfway gone. Grand Minister's eyes dilated. "Well, it looks like Hit's disqualification is in harmony with half of the tournament's time limit having passed!" He held his hand in the air, and the sky turned green instead of black. Yamcha's shock turned into determination. We gotta win, no matter what!
