I sat alone on my couch, waiting for Robin to come home. He's been gone all day to shoot his show, Gotham and I have never been so lonely.

Obviously, I live alone, but there's just something that Robin has that makes me want to have him here forever. He makes everything different and wonderful and my life is so much more complete with him in it.

I went to turn on my television, since my phone was boring me at the moment. There, on the screen, I saw the Notebook playing. I watched as things got heated between the two lovers and I couldn't help but think about Robin and I.

Our lips connected softly at first, but with the second time, his were smashed onto mine in a heated rush. It was a little unexpected, so I let out a quiet moan. This was supposed to be the time when we would go to sleep and I felt so uncomfortable, but yet I didn't want to stop. His hands traveled down my waist and stopped on my hips. He gripped them and began to plant kisses all over my neck. "Baby?" He stopped and looked up at me. "I love you."

It was the first time we had ever exchanged the 'L' word and it happened last night. I heard the music on the TV, and I couldn't help but remember the way to play that. I play the violin and I'm actually very good at it. But where did I put that thing?

I rummaged through my closets and drawers until I finally found it. It looked brand new, even though I hadn't played it for quite a while. The commercial had played "A thousand years" by Christina Perri.

I got ready and began to play.

"Heart beats fast

Colors and promises." I sang along to the music and got lost in the moment, as usual.

"How to be brave

How can I love when I'm afraid to fall

But Watching you stand alone

All of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow"

The only thing that pulled me out of my trance is the voice I heard that was most definitely not mine. I stopped abruptly and stood up, scared for my life.

Expecting to see a serial killer before me, I instead was given Robin with a wide grin on his face. "I didn't mean to scare you, but I just couldn't help but join in on the fun." I furrowed my eyebrows at him. "I thought it was really good. You never told me you could play the violin."

I chuckled, "Well, it never really came up. Did you just get here?" He came over to me and kissed my lips softly. "I got here about five minutes ago. I couldn't interrupt you, though. It was beautiful. "

"You really think so?" He pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear, "I know so."
