Imogen bit her bottom lip anxiously as she drove towards Scott's house as she followed behind Stiles jeep with Allison behind her. She really hoped that having pulled Lydia around the school to leave her scent around would keep Erica and Isaac distracted long enough for them to make it to the McCall household before they showed up.

"We'll keep her safe, you know." Lia voiced, noting her friends nervous look.

The blue eyed witch glanced at her before looking back at the road. "I know but, I can't help worrying." She said, her tone anxious. "I mean, it if Lydia isn't the kanima then why didn't the venom affect her. It can't be just because she's immune, right?"

"I don't know. As far as everything I've learned about werewolves it's that you either turn from the bite or it kills you." She said, just as they pulled up behind the blue jeep in front of the McCall home.

The girl said nothing, sighing softly as they got out. Imogen knew that Lydia had to be something. She wasn't oblivious to how strange Lydia had been acting since the night Peter bit her.

She knew she wasn't being the best friend in the world not being there for her lately but there was a creature going around killing people and that had taken priority. But now the strawberry blonde's life was being threatened and she had to help protect her. She refused to let Derek kill her over something they couldn't be 100% certain.

"If we're studying at Scott's house, then where's Scott?" Lydia questioned them as she let Stiles lead her up the steps. She found their behavior weirder than usual.

She had been okay with her friends keeping secrets from her especially when she was keeping the whole seeing a dead man to herself. She didn't need everyone to look at her like she was crazy. She had gotten enough of that after her naked trip in the woods.

"Meeting us here, I think." Stiles told her, before his voice lowered. He trusted the two witches and huntress to protect the girl but he would feel better with his best friend here too. "I hope."

"Thanks for doing this." Imogen murmured to Jackson as she walked beside him, grateful that he helped in convincing Lydia to tag along even though they had broken up.

She did feel bad that Lydia had gotten her heart broken because of the breakup but couldn't help but feel like it was better this way. It was obvious how toxic their relationship was.

As much as it was obvious that Jackson cared for Lydia no matter how much he denied it, it was obvious that they weren't going to get back together.

Jackson gave her a faint smile. "I needed to talk to her anyway." He told her as they walked into the house. He needed to get that key back from Lydia. The key that he had given to her that was his own way of telling her he loved her.

Once everyone was inside Stiles frantically locked all the locks on the door and noted the weird look he got from the girl genius. "Uh, there's been a few break-ins around the neighborhood." He put a chair in front of the door for added protection. "And a murder." He stammered, looking flustered. "Yeah, it was bad."
