Imogen walked into the school still reeling from the shock and shame she felt that her and Scott hadn't noticed Jackson running off. The two had been so lost in the heat of the moment that they forgot they were supposed to be keeping an eye on Jackson.

What also shocked was that Jackson had ended up getting a restraining order against both Scott and Stiles.

She glanced down at the tablet in her hand that had everything Lydia had translated for Allison last night and headed towards the library. Scott and Stiles were standing by the shelves of books, hidden from view and approached them. She sent them a small smile which they returned. "It's everything Lydia can translate." She told them as she handed Scott the tablet. "Allison said she was very confused."

"Yeah, what'd she tell her?" Scott asked curiously as to what excuse the huntress came up with.

Imogen pursed her lips, trying to not look to amused by the excuse her friend gave. "That we were part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures."

"I am part of an online gaming community that battles mythical creatures." Stiles said, looking between them.

"Oh." Imogen blinked, nodding a bit. "That's cool."

Scott shook his head at his friend, turning to his girlfriend. "Okay, does it say how to find out who's controlling him?"

"Not really." She muttered, sighing. "But Stiles was right about the murderers."

"Yes!" The normal human grinned.

"It calls the kanima a weapon of vengeance." She said, glancing at the tablet. "There's a story in there about this South American priest who uses the kanima to execute murderers in his village-"

"All right, see?" Stiles tried to sound optimistic. "So maybe it's not all that bad."

"Until the bond grew strong enough that it killed whoever he wanted it to." She deadpanned, giving him a look.

He winced. "All bad, all very, very bad."

"But, see, here's the thing." She looked at them with a serious look. "The kanima's actually supposed to be a werewolf. But it can't be-"

"Until it resolves that in its past which manifested it." Scott read aloud in softer tone when the librarian walked past them.

Stiles pursed his lips, tightening his grip on the book he was holding. "Okay, if that means that Jackson could use a few thousand hours of therapy, I could've told you that myself."

"What if this has something to do with his parents. His real parents." Imogen recalled how Jackson was adopted and didn't know who his birth parents were.

Scott looked at her, realizing that maybe she was onto something. "Yeah, does anybody actually know what happened to them?"

"Lydia might." Stiles suggested.
