Crazy Love
Kyrie Irving

Inspiration: Crazy Love ~ R.City featuring Taurus Riley

Cause I've been hearing a lot of bad news lately
I'm just trying not to let it phase me
If I didn't have you my baby
I'll go crazy

"Why do we always watch CNN?" Kyrie asked with a chuckle as he walked into his master bedroom. His wife, {your name} was sprawled out against the bed, typing away on her laptop.

"It's just background noise to help me concentrate with these reports." She mumbled, not really paying attention to him. The Celtics guard chuckled as he went to the bathroom to discard his clothing and returned.

"You know, keeping up with Trump and all of the other world bs can lead to high blood pressure." He stated as he watched his magnificent wife. She paused in her typing and watched him with an amused look.

"Dude. Shut." She said with a laugh. He laughed with her as he got into in the bed, resting her head against his.

"I'm just saying, yes it's good to be aware of what's going on, but it can be stressful." He said with a shrug. {your name} hummed agreeing with his statement as she continued her report for work.

"Yeah it can, if only world leaders weren't so ignorant." She said with sigh. "But most of them are elected and it is what the people want, it's what the people get."

"Is that the reason why you insist people should vote?" Kyrie asked as he watched her with a raised brow. {your name} nodded her head as she closed her eyes for a minute.

"You can't complain about the government if you didn't even make an effort to try change the outcome. That's all I have to say. If you are eligible to vote, you should fricken vote."

"Ooooo, guys {your name} said fricken. Let me call your aunty and tell on your ass for cursing." Kyrie said laughing as she pushed his head away.

"Man go away. I have this paper to finish man."

"Babe you see this bullshit." Kyrie said to his wife as he shook his head. He was relaxing as she did her project, scrolling through twitter until he saw a wild tweet he felt he had to tell his wife about.

"What is the problem now Irving?" {your name} asked chuckling a bit. She knew her husband could get ticked off by certain things on social media and was hoping it was nothing stupid. He handed her the phone and she read tweet with a confused look on her face.

"The Cavaliers are better without Kyrie and his drama. They were so lucky to get rid of him before the injury. His wife must've put voodoo on him and I hope she gets deported by Trump." she read out loud shaking her head.

She just had to to laugh at the ignorance that was evident in this world. Kyrie's jaw clench as he got furious with the tweet again. His wife was a beautiful melanin queen from the African country of Zambia. Her and her family migrated to America when she was ten, and she is actually living in the country legally.

"These ignorant bastards just need to hit their heads against a wall and maybe some brain cells would start to work again." He spat as he shook his head. She crawled towards her husband who was laying on the bed and wrapped her body around his.

"Listen to me baby. I got you and you got me. This world right now is so fucking crazy we'll never know what will happen to us." she started as she ran her hands through his waves.

"But our love is crazy as well. We don't have a normal love story and that brings us closer together. Once it is the two of us we can survive in this place we call home" Kyrie grabbed her face and kissed her passionately. The kiss was full of the love that they had for each other over these past years and he knows it can only get deeper.

"And you right about our story not being normal." he chuckled a bit as he pulled away. "I can't believe your uncle wanted to sell me for some sheep and goats." The two laughed loudly at the wild memory as they were cuddled up, safe from the world's harm.
