Chapter 7

It was now the last week of January. Three weeks passed by quicker than you had thought. School was actually a bit more bearable with Jinhwan and Ara. You got his number and texted him a lot and in that time period, you and Ara even hung out together with him on the weekends once. You were able to get a picture of him and use it as his contact picture, which actually ended up being cute af. Self note to never let Ara find out or she'll expose you.

Of course there were things that pissed you off a lot, especially Sooyoung, since she kept on telling you to stay away from "her Jinhwan" or whatever. You were confident though, you doubted Jinhwan would like her as a friend with her bratty attitude. At least you and Jinhwan were friends. However, Jealousy did kick in at times when you caught Sooyoung sighing over Jinhwan. You had to rant about it to Ara, who teased you for acting this way.

Well whatever it is, the important thing was that you accepted your feelings for Jinhwan and tried not to be too embarrassed about it. Ara was there for you too, even if she always teased you endlessly. You were getting out of the house, expecting Jinhwan to be waiting for you like he always did, slightly excited to see him again. You were a bit confused when you found out that he wasn't there this morning. Maybe he's a little late..... You thought to yourself. You waited a couple minutes for him, but he never came out so you took out your phone and texted him. You smiled when you saw his new contact picture.

You spaced out for a moment before bringing yourself back to reality and remembering why you took out your phone in the first place.

You waited for a bit and then heard your phone ring.
