This song makes me cry like a baby every freaking time. Enjoy my loyal, royal subjects :)

merrily we fall out of line, out of line.

Samuel shoved his clothes into a bag, making sure he had everything that he needed. He knew that his father would be home soon and that if he didn't get out of here in time, he would have to endure one of his rages. George waited for him in the doorway. Samuel wiped tears away and grabbed his hand, leading him out of the place where he had endured so much abuse.

I'd fall anywhere with you, I'm by your side.

Samuel and George fell backward onto the bed in the apartment they had gotten together, laughing George nuzzled Samuel's neck. They were together, engaged and ready for anything, i mean, they had just assembled an Ikea bed together, without breaking up!  George pulled Samuel close to his chest, kissing his head.

Swinging in the rain, humming melodies, we're not going anywhere until we freeze

Samuel and George laughed and started running as the new york rain poured buckets over their heads. They ducked under the canopy of the Richard Rogers theatre, ironically where they were going. They opened the door and shivered at the air conditioning. Samuel looked at George and broke out laughing.

I'm not afraid anymore, I'm not afraid

Samuel stood in the hospital room doorway, watching his father's chest rise and fall, waiting for the doctor to come and explain his condition. Last he heard, he had gotten in a car accident. He wasn't surprised. The man had always been a horrible driver. Suddenly, the sudden beeping stopped, replaced by a long, high-pitched continuous note. He screamed for help and watched as the man who had abused, broken and beaten him die with tears in his eyes. It didn't matter if he was horrible. He was the only family he had left.

Forever is a long time. And I, wouldn't mind spending it by your side.

Samuel stared at the grave and gripped George's hand tightly, tear running down his cheeks. George kissed his forehead and wiped them away, whispering sweet nothings in his ear as they walked away, a single daffodil on the grave (daffodils mean forgiveness).

Tell me, every day, I get to wake up to that smile,

Samuel squeezed George's hand tightly in the ambulance, curling up at the pain, squeezing his eyes shut so he couldn't see the blood.  His world went black.

I wouldn't mind it, I wouldn't mind it at all.

Samuel's eyes fluttered open, seeing George, eyes a little puffy, staring at him. george smiled before kissing him and explaining what happened, about how he had a hemmorage in his stomach.

you so know me

Samuel's eyes flew open as he had the wind knocked out of him by the small-platinum blonde-haired toddler, the lightning illuminating the frightened blue eyes that she got from her father. He kept her close to him and poked George, knowing she found more comfort if both her parents were aware.

Pinch me gently

George wrapped an arm around Samuel's waist as he pulled Charlotte to his chest, wishing for this moment to never end. George couldn't help but think that the two most beautiful things in his life were in his arms.

I can hardly breathe

Samuel let his chest fall as he held George's hand, his eyes closing peacefully and letting sleep envelop him. He was extremely Tired, as he always seemed to be.  Sickness had taken a toll on his body, but he didn't want to go. Hs daughter was only fifteen, and he didn't want to leave them alone. But nobody could stop the inevitable. His chest didn't rise again.

Forever is a, long.

Samuel outstretched his silvery pearlescent hand, waiting for George to take it.

"It's time to go love. I've missed you terribly." He said sweetly. George took his hand and noticed that Samuel was younger, from the times they were their happiest, the small wrinkled forming at the corners of his eyes like they always had. george squeezed the shorter man to his chest, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Long time.

Charlotte gripped Her husband's hand, staring at the two graves with her maiden name on them
