Finally

I thought Dylan's house was big when he had that party, but right now it's empty and it's way bigger.
"Holy shit, you're like rich!" Deena exclaims excitedly, I roll my eyes.
"I'm not rich my parents are," he says while twisting the key into the lock.
"Still cool" she mumbles.
"So where is your dad?" I ask, looking up at the high ceilings.
"He has a bunch of conferences for work he has to go to, so he's away a lot" he responds.
"So you get to be like all alone in this house, that's so cool" Deena screeches, he shrugs.
"It's too big sometimes" he admits, turning away from us.
"Well if you need any company just call" she flirts, making me cough loudly.
"So drinks?" Dylan asks changing the subject.
"Alcoholic or not?" Kalani asks still looking around with wide eyes.
"I'm drinking alcohol, I'll need it... but whatever you guys want," Dylan says giving me a pointed look toward Deena, I laugh.
"I'll have whatever you're having," Kai says plopping down on the couch
"Same," I say, squishing next to Kai, Who places his arm around me.
"I'll just get us all some beer," Dylan says rushing to the kitchen.
"Wow this place is huge," Kalani says spinning to look out of the giant double doors.
"Yeah, you don't remember from the party," I ask, she shakes her head before sitting down across from me.
"I was kind of drunk, plus it seems bigger," she says.
"Shit I forgot this was Dylan's house" Deena adds, sitting next to Kalani, who rolls her eyes.
"When can we sneak away without it being considered rude?" Kai whispers to me, I smirk.
"I think we can sneak away now, but we need to be quick" I respond, he chuckles.
"That won't be hard," he says, making me laugh loudly.
"What's with you two?" Kalani asks I try to hide my blush.
"What?" I ask, scootching away from Kai's wandering hands to concentrate.
"You just seem., I don't know different," She says, her eyes squinted.
"We're in love people act differently when they're in love," Kai response, a bite to his tone.
"Fine I'll let it go" she says, hands up in surrender, suddenly my body feels hot, and uncomfortable.
"Drinks are served," Dylan says breaking the slightly awkward silence, I grab mine quickly.
"So..," Dylan says awkwardly, I groan.
"Let's play never have you ever" I interject, wanting the awkwardness to dissipate.
"Fuck yes" Kalani squeals happily, Dylan squishes beside me.
"Alright I'll start, never have I ever had sex," Deena says, and everyone drinks.
"It supposed to be things you haven't done," I tell her, she looks innocently at me.
"Agree to disagree" she smiles, I groan quietly.
"Never have I ever had a one night stand," Kalani says, Deena, and Kai drink.
"You've never Dylan," Deena asks disbelievingly.
"Nope" he responds, moving his beer from one hand to the other.
"You have?" I ask Kai, he looks sheepish
"Once, It was a weird time," he says, I nod.
"I think it's a right of passage," Deena says smirking.
"I disagree, I think it's a choice you make, not everyone has to do it" I debate, she rolls her eyes.
"Never have I ever has sex in a car," Dylan says, Kai, Deena, and I drink.
"Eww guys I sit on those seats," Kalani says
"How do you know its with each other?" I ask she gives me a duh look, that makes me blush violently
"I did once catch you guys in the kitchen so I'm assuming" she jokes, making everyone but Deena laugh.
"Never have I ever ghosted someone," Kai says, I drink subtly, he gives me wide eyes.
"Accident.., sort of. I was in a weird place" I mock, he gives me a small nod, a small smirk on his face.
"Never have I ever faked an orgasm" I challenge, his smirk turns into a smile. Deena, and Kalani drink.
"I don't see the point, how is it suppose to get better," I ask, Kai pulls me tighter against him.
"I'm just too polite," Kalani says, making me laugh.
"I just want my lover to have the best time," Deena says, I choke on my beer.
"I think it's more offensive if you fake it," Dylan says, I nod.
"Exactly" I add
"Never have I ever had sex in a plane," Deena says, Dylan drinks, we all stare shocked.
"Don't want to talk about it?" he says, I push him, he laughs.
"I guess there's more to you than I thought" Deena flirts.
"Never have I ever been in love," Kalani says. Kalani and Dylan don't drink.
"Haku?" I ask
"Puppy love, I mean real love" she shrugs, I take a sip, and so does Kai, I smile despite myself.
"Awhh how gross" Kalani chants, I throw a pillow at her.
"Never have I ever thought I was in love, but actually wasn't," he says, I start to think.
"Nice so basically just me," Kalani says, Dylan shrugs smirking.
"Never have I ever cheated on my girlfriend/boyfriend," Kai says
"Drink D," Kalani says, we all look at her.
"I've never cheated," Deena says
"On Derek, remember" Kalani responds
"I don't consider that cheating Kalani," she says,
"What did you do?" Dylan asks, Deena seems defensive.
"I was texting someone else we didn't do anything, we just talked and I realized I liked him more than my boyfriend," She says
"Did you guys plan to date after the breakup?" I ask, she nods
"That's cheating" I conclude, she looks annoyed
"It's not" she demands and looks at Kai.
"Let's just move on," Dylan says.
"Never have I ever tried to steal someone's boyfriend," I say, staring directly at Deena.
"Drink up D," I say, my voice steady, she looks wide-eyed at me.
"I don't know what you're saying" she stammers
"I think we can all see you like Kai, I'm not threatened, simply stating a fact" I shrug, she looks between us then, her eyes turning black.
"Never have I ever kissed Kai" she states, and my blood runs cold, she slowly takes a sip.
"Oh shit I'm so bad at this game, I guess I've done that too" she says shrugging.
"You're a bitch" I state, she smirks sinking back into the couch.
"You think?" She asks, that's when I stand, I don't want to feel Kai next to me, I feel betrayed.
"You know what Deena I feel sorry for you, it must be the worst feeling to be completely into another woman's man, to have to look at them together, in love. It's practically laughable, I know I'm laughing" I say, her smirk drops immediately, her face blazing over with hurt. Guilt seeps onto me like rain.
"I'm sorry" I rush, but she's standing now, her body rigid.
"You know what must be hard, being the freak show that your boyfriend can't even bring out in public, not without fear of some dramatic panic attack" She sneers, and she might as well have slapped me, that would have been kinder.
"Deena, what the fuck" Kai jumps in, but I hold my hand out to show that I've got this.
"Your right it is hard, especially being around someone like you" I say, my voice wobbly, but I wasn't ashamed.
"I understand you're hurt by my happiness, so I forgive you for being a total bitch, But if you ever again try to touch, flirt or even look at Kai, I will no longer be so forgiving." I snap, her face inches from mine, she actually looks frightened.
"Whatever" she states before storming out of the house.
"Jesus" Kalani say staring after her. I stare at Kai, he looks down at the floor, and I rush outside panic rising in my throat.
